We took a very short notice break to Bali, discovered this gem of a place. Very impressive and stylish without the intimidation of a big hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and could not do enough to help us. The food quality was 1st class and the bedroom was luxurious. I cannot recommend this place highly enough for a restful, tranquil break. If like me you tire of too much relaxation, do as we did and hire a local driver who can show you many local attractions that you would not get to see if you stayed in the more commercial area of Bali. Also the icing on the cake was the cost which is well within most peoples' budget. We actually went in February but with the world problems at the moment this is the first chance I have had to thank the hotel.
We stayed in a spacious Villa for 7 nights. The extra large bed was soooo comfortable. Complimentary mini bar and golf buggy transport to our Villa was most appreciated. The swimming pool and large outdoor spa with the cafe next door everything was close by. Yoga and meditation daily a bonus and the resort offers daily tours and activities for both adults and kids. The staff in the Spa were excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our massages, scrub, foot reflexology and facial treatments. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were included in our package and the selection was great with both western and Balinese options available. Can’t say enough about the beautiful staff, nothing was too much trouble and if you had a question, it was solved within minutes. We look forward to returning.
To be really fair this hotel got really amazing view, too bad this hotel just another hotel that give different treatment to specific guests , I can really see different treatment they gave to asian and westerner, for 4 days I stayed in the hotel, I kept seeing this one guy looks like he have high position in there, I saw him keep approaching and talking to guest westerners but never once I see him approaching local or asian. When I just arrived at the hotel, staff also not welcoming properly, I clearly tell them I wanna check in and the guy looks rather confused instead of say welcome. Also the activity in the hotel not really happening they have schedules but when i try to go no one there assisting me. Also the kids club is more like baby club, no staff in the kids club and not much toys, most toys are for babies. So if you have bigger kids not much they can do in there because there are no activity on the kids club also no play ground. I would say this hotel deserves less than 4 stars hotel. Def not 5 stars. The hotel cleanliness in the hotel also not so good, I saw dead flies in the bathroom sink for two days, I had to grab it my self because the room service didn’t clean it properly.…
We have spent my birthday at Saranam Resort & Spa and were absolutely delighted with the service. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, greeting me by the name and giving me their birthday wishes one by one, we have received a room upgrade and an incredible Birthday surprise during breakfast. The resort is beautiful and full of activities to keep the guests entertained, whatever their taste is. In a very quiet area, with a microclimate (colder and more wet than the typical Balinese weather), it is perfect for relaxing and getting away from all types of stress.
We both are well travelled around the world and this hotel is the BEST hotel we ever stayed in. We had a "wow" moment walking in, meeting the amazing friendly staff and the views from the hotel, lobby, our suite and the restaurant. I even told my boyfriend it would be hard to propose on a more beautiful stay then this! We will be back for our honeymoon, anniversary or any celebration! Thank you so much for everything as this trip was one of my favorite so far! Suksuma Saranam💕
