I always love the intimate atmosphere this hotel can generate for all conferences I attend. Generally, conferences can be stuffy, droll, and even painful. Not so at this Marriott. I don't even care about the terrible parking, downed elevator, sketchy free coffee, and the funky Baltimore water - which means I have to pay the hotel rate for the water... More

Visiting Baltimore for business and decided to stay in Towson. Hotel is adjacent to Towson University and is convenient off of 695 on the north side. You do, however, have to drive through the little town which does get backed up with traffic during rush hour. Hotel itself was fine. Relatively new lobby, one bar/restaurant off to the side. The... My husband relocated to MD for work and was placed at the Towson Marriott for a long term stay over one month. I joined him for the the last week while our belongings were being shipped from out of state. It was a great stay! The staff knew my husband by his first name and were very accommodating. The food... We stayed at the Marriot because it was close to our grandson's Graduation. We stayed on night. The room we had was a suite. It had two bedrooms and a full kitchen which was a waste for a one night stay. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The room cost $163 plus tax which totaled 183.66 which I... More

Attended a 3-day conference and this was the location for meetings and our lodging. When I first saw the hotel, I thought, "What is this? An apartment complex? Condos?". I did some research and a fellow traveler noted it used to be a graduate dorm for Towson University, which makes complete sense. The rooms are so strange for a hotel.... More

Always good to stay at this hotel. Traveling on points with my wife and her mother, so they upgraded us to a two bedroom suite. Rooms are nice and large with full kitchens. Very well equipped and nice workout room. Concierge breakfast is a little weak, but the restaurants are very good. Place is a converted nursing home so the... More

As always, Marriott doesn't fail to please! Stayed here a couple of nights on business, great suite, with in room Laundry / Drier. Kitchen was well equipped and the breakfast was amazing. Location was great, and the suite - was spacious and extremely clean / tidy.

This hotel has both positives and disappointments. From what I was told it used to be a grad student dorm and thus the rooms are like little one bedroom apartments and have space and functionality. Very nice big TVs and complimentary soaps. Nice towels and such. But the hallways need work and the foyers look seriously like a one star... More

This property has all the great features Marriott loyalty program customers expect. Besides being close to the University is very nice. Additionally, it's an easy drive into Baltimore or to have business meetings without being in the heart of the city.

Spent a week here while on business and found the hotel to be in good order. The rooms are huge, as others have noted. Did not spend much time in the room but everything worked well and was comfortable. The kitchen was missing quite a few dishes / cooking items, though I had no need of them. Ate in the... More
