My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon. The location of Apa Kabar was our favorite on the island. It is off the beaten path and surrounded with coral gardens, delicious restaurants, and water activities. We had a great time here and want to come again. I would definitely

Located in the outskirts of Amed, Apa Kabar has a gorgeous beach outside that is absolutely perfect for snorkelling. Unfortunately, currently that's about all the place has going for it - in all honesty though, that's still quite a lot. As a semi-enclosed resort, the place looks

We switched from another place which wasn't up to much. We had a family villa, and the location was perfect. Snorkelling was ok off the beach, breakfast was good for both quality and quantity. Yogi who was looking after us was a good laugh, informative and good at organising

Hi there, it is possible to walk to some other places, but essentially Amed requires transport to explore and see it all. You can hire scooters from Apa Kabar, at the front desk for $5 a day and reasonably safe to get around. The other option you have with restaurants in the area is that they will pick you up and drop you back at the Villas. There is lots to explore in the area, so a scooter is the way to go, just return it with a full tank and all will be sweet

"Avoid villas 9 and 10: no sea view and you'd feel like you're sleeping _on_ the main Amed road. Very noisy."
"Room 9 is a bit of a reception thoroughfare and a tad too close to the main road. All other rooms are fine. 2 bed villas great"
"I think Room # 5 is located just at the right point, distant from pool yet facing the ocean for a great view."
"We have stayed in 3 different types of villas here and they were all great."
"Take eye mask as curtains not blackout"
