The villas are neat and clean and beautiful. The staff is great too. We had to cut short our trip but the resort did not charge any cancellation fee. They were very courteous and understanding. I would go there again if possible. The sea and...More
The smaller one bedroom villas are very charming. They have a great view with lounge chairs out front. Unfortunately, the AC didn't work in ours. They kept telling us that it just takes time for the room to cool down after the brown out. After...More

Hi there, it is possible to walk to some other places, but essentially Amed requires transport to explore and see it all. You can hire scooters from Apa Kabar, at the front desk for $5 a day and reasonably safe to get around. The other option you have with restaurants in the area is that they will pick you up and drop you back at the Villas.
There is lots to explore in the area, so a scooter is the way to go, just return it with a full tank and all will be sweet
