It has become a last minute resort for backpackers. Please don't book this hotel in advance for the high season price. It is not worth it. It's really falling apart. Please read the other comments. We booked through our travel agent. Bad choice. The hotel hasn't had proper maintenance in years which is quite visible everywhere. Fortunately Our AC did... More

One gets spoiled when traveling in Bali and this place is sub-standard. Garden and pool are not well maintained (simple things like waste-bins not emptied, leaving an unclean impression). Personnel okay, but again, have seen much better in Bali. Dogs are allowed, meaning there are droppings on the gardenpaths. Houses were clean and bathrooms okay. However, we can't recommend this... Things we liked as a family: Simple Comfortable Breakfasts included are good - especially the fruit platters! Relaxed staff Good snorkelling trips on offer Right on the beach so you can watch the prahus (fishing boats) come and go a bit Grounds are spacious Things we think Uyah could improve on: All food other than breakfast (more vegetarian options, better... We had 2 relaxing nights at Hotel Uyah in beautiful Amed. Amed is like old Bali, quiet, picturesque, & very laid back. The staff at Uyah were all fantastic, so friendly & relaxed, a very chilled vibe. The hotel is an eco-friendly resort and the rooms were very nice, furnished well & overall a very pleasant stay, we could have... More

As I had announced in my feedback in September 2014: I would come back and now I have come back and I still love it. This is simply a spacious and well kept hotel complex with very nice, clean bungalows. Very friendly and attentive staff. Good food and very fast WIFI in the Cafe. Skype was no problem so I... More

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Uyah Amed. My room and bathroom were both nice and spacious with a comfy bed and an air-conditioner that worked really well. The beach was only a few steps away from the front of my door, which was nice. The staff here were wonderful - always smiling and ready to give a hello... More

I stayed here for one night. Room was big but the problem was the ac not cold enough as the alang alang roof. Plus no wifi in the room. Huge resort and friendly staff. But not worth for money we spent for a room.

The hotel is located at the beginning of many hotels in Amed. Located by the beach. The breakfast is good especially the homemade bread. NO TV in the room. And at the breakfast site, there is a canal/pond that is not treated well. It gave a bad odour, while you sat just above the small pond. There is a demonstration... More

We based ourselves at this hotel for an afternoon of diving off Amed. The lunch in the restaurant was reasonable but not exceptional, and the location was quite pleasant with a large grassy area close to the beach. Convenient for access to diving by boat.
