I stayed at Life in Amed for 2 weeks for a yoga retreat, and it was just amazing. Beautiful houses and garden, with very exquisite decorum. We had a special vegan diet, and it was splendid, especially the cakes. I must also mention the nicest staff you can imagine.

We had booked into one of the six bungalows overlooking the pool which are all lovely and then we were fortunate to stay in the upper bedroom of the private villa with its own pool and garden overlooking the beach. The accommodation and grounds are stunning and we felt truly blessed. Sarah the owner has an excellent eye for detail...

We had an absolutely amazing time. We originally booked a beach cottage and asked to get picked up at the airport at 00:25am and at first we were worried we would be forgotten due to the time. But as soon as we got around all the taxi drivers we found our driver waiting patiently for us even though it took...

...oh, yes, friendly hosts, great food, and snorkeling - diving, too, but we don't. Our villa #7 was right on the beach, as is #8. Inexpensive car & driver, who toured us around daily, invited us to family dinner of delicious fish, and was a real asset. I love Bali - we see different areas each time we go. Have...

We loved our stay at "Life in Amed". I found the location was perfect as we were in a quiet fishing village right on the beach but close enough to town when we needed it. Our bungalow was lovely with the loft area for the kids and plenty of room for 4 people. The pool was beautiful and I really...

We stayed in the big house which is comprised of a private pool, lawn, outdoor dining and living area, and three large bedrooms. This place is really beautiful, albeit a bit rustic. There were water dispensers in the bedrooms and a cold water dispenser in the kitchen. Breakfast can be taken in the restaurant (included in room price) or they...

So accommodating. Very kid-friendly (traveling with 2 under 5). Yoga was delightful. Locals on beach always asking if want massage/tour etc, but were very receptive to polite "no thanks" if not interested. Food in restaurant was awesome and healthy. Felt like a little oasis. Very relaxing stay!

This is an absolutely wonderful boutique hotel to stay at. The grounds are beautiful, the villas clean and well appointed, and the staff is excellent. Since it is a boutique hotel the number of individual villas is limited so book early and enjoy the peace and quiet of the grounds. We ate every day in the restaurant and never left...

We stayed here for one night before getting a boat across to the Gilis the next day. It was a bit of a way through Amed (not as far as we thought) and not very well signposted, but upon arrival we were so glad we'd booked to stay here and had no complaints. Everything was so pretty about this quaint...
