We stayed as a family of 4 to do diving with ecodive in Jemeluk Bay. The resort is pretty, quiet and staff are super friendly. Great for yoga too. I really appreciate the environmentally friendly policies of the place and the absence of throwaway plastic otherwise so common in

Amed is a rustic strip of a village and staying there drops you into the village-fishing life of Bali. We found Life in Amed resort completely by chance and felt immediately at home in our sweet cottage on its little slip of landscaped beauty and lovely pool. It’s not a huge

I stayed at the gorgeous Life in Amed over the weekend with my partner and had a thoroughly enjoyable experience! The rooms are unique-so nice and comfortable. Tastefully decorated and just steps away from the beach. The surrounding grounds are beautiful and peaceful. The food

The hotel is beautiful and very clean staff are super friendly and the food excellent. We also enjoyed the daily yoga classes and the very well organised trips. We will recommend it to all our friends.

Small but beautiful! Few Bungalows dotted on a slice of land right on the beach. Lovely decorated (recycled teak features, doors, outdoor shower!), lush green garden and refreshing pool. Bungalows are spacey and comfortable. Local fishermen land their colourful dhows every

Apologies, I did not see your question... we are in a safe zone here.. no snakes, that is silly press, not reality. Our days are normal, the tremors have stopped for now..we are behind another mountain and also have protected our rooms and restaurant area and many supplies and water on hand.. In Amed as a safe zone are 3000 evacuees from the slopes of Mt Agung.. spread throughout the area.. a fast boat to Gili will leave our village on Oct 20th and boats should resume shortly after that. We have no idea when the volcano may erupt, for now the biggest dilemma is to find a way guests feel safe enough to return after all the sensational press reports that were not entirely true... Apologies if we missed you this time..

Email the hotel directly either through their website lifebali or call 0363 23152 but an email would be better it cannot be posted here do an engine search. There are drivers in the village of the hotel that collect all their guests.

The little cottages are actually quite roomy and really comfortable. Work fabulously with 2 adults + 2 kids. They have air con and fans. Its such a friendly place if you had one or two things for a fridge they'd probably store them or you can easily order ice / icebucket. We stay at the Villa Paradiso because its got a lounge (with rather basic couch), outdoor dining and lots of space. You're paying for the extra room, but it does have a tiny fridge. We move the fridge in to the lounge area. I wouldn't pay extra to upgrade just for a fridge, but I would highly recommend the Paradiso because its so lovely! The Paradiso is the better of the 2 bigger villas.
