If you are feeling a little peaky or that something is not quite right then this is the retreat for you. It is not for the faint hearted, you are challenged in many ways, but the most obvious been no food for 7 days. Don't let this frighten you, I was not hungry, there are endless 'drinks' that aid in...

Golden Rock was the perfect place for me and my needs to cleanse my body and rejuvenate my mind. The very nice and supporting team guide me through the process, treatments and therapies were done with kindness, the daily yoga and qi gong activities help me to centered myself, while my body was wasting. This beautiful retreat is secluded within the cliffs of Amed on the east coast of Bali. Each villa is private and situated right on the beach front. I booked in for 10 days of cleansing, detoxing and rejuvenation and this is exactly what I got. The staff are caring and friendly, they go out of their way to ensure your...

Amazingly neither myself who has a lot of weight to loose and my friend who does not, neither after 8 days of following the detox fully, lost Any weight. I possibly felt a little better and clothes may have...

I spent ten days at the golden rock in December 2015 Here,s what I liked: the villas on the beach front are truly beautiful expertly designed two storey and you can see the beach from both levels of your villa and go to sleep and wake up to the crashing waves. The staff who bring you your daily detox menu...

This is as intense as a full body detox can get!!!! Your insides are so thoroughly cleaned, it's just mind blowing. You will need however a calm determination and just do everything they tell you to do. The location is just mind blowing and the constant soft sound of the waves puts you into a continual meditative state. What amazed...

I've just had an amazing eight-day stay at Golden Rock Retreat. It's tucked away up in the north-east of the island, with the nearest village about 10km away. The retreat itself is built in to a steep hillside leading down to the crystal blue sea. If you're planning a fluffy dressing gown / delicious juices kind of spa retreat, then...

“All the rooms are good but sometimes when the fishermen go out fishing at 4 - 5.30am it can get noisy so best to pack earplugs if you are a light sleeper like me. There are only 5 villas and I have stayed in 3 of them. Big couples villa (more expensive one) was my favourite with views over Lombok straight. I picked this as i brought my husband along this time and he loved his experience at the Golden Rock.”
