We stayed for 4 nights in the Barung, which is the beach side of the road next to the dive shop. It is a wooden hut over 2 levels - outdoor sitting and bedroom upstairs, bathroom downstairs. The stairs are a bit rickety and the bathroom is dated, the shower rock wall is lovely. The bed was comfortable enough and... More

What could be a lovely hotel is let down by poor management and lack of staff supervision. All the staff were charming ànd friendly but I experienced smelly slow drains that once "fixed" slowed down again next day; broken furniture just covered up and not fixed till 2nd request, a ceiling fan clearly set on 'winter' as no air blew... My driver drove me from Candidasa to this cafe and it's truly a nice place to be. Their staff are welcoming, providing free locker service and also use of their facilities like showering, toilets and sun bathing chairs. The food is delicious and inexpensive. I went for snorkeling and got into currents. Was rescued by a passerby and the staff... More

Apparently, these people have a range of services/facilities. They have a hotel, cafe/restaurant, dive centre, spa, mini-mart & booking centre. They book for Perama Tours & Transport & can you rent motorbikes, bicycles & taxis. They have quite a range of rooms. I guess, IF it is OKAY with TripAdvisor, check out their website for details. Amenities in my “compound”... More

This hotel was really good we pick the standard cheap room and stayed 2 nights hotel has everything. Really nice people. Food delicious but if you walk 200meters you will find half of price food. The pools are really clean. The lobby helps arrange everything for you really cheap. High end hotel .. Recommended

We stayed in Puri Ental1 which was beautiful. Very private with own entrance, glass doors on both sides of the room with outside view. The balcony is huge, L shape with a hammock. There are a lot of steps to get here, so not recommended for older people. But you can get lower level rooms. The hotel compound is beautiful.... More

My daughter & I stayed here for 4 nights and came away very pissed off - which is rare for us laid back Aussies!! The woman at the dive shop spoke to us terribly when I lost a snorkelling mask by accident. She mentioned I would have to pay for it which was fair enough but when I went to... More

Hotel Amed is a nice place to stay with beautiful views over the Amed beach. There is good snorkelling right in front of the hotel. The hotel has many steps but it is worth the climb for the views. The rooms are basic but adequate and the air conditioning works well. The breakfast is across the road at Amed cafe... More

We were in Amed before going to the Gili islands for 4 days, we booked 1 night at the Amed cafe before arriving and expected to just extend it after the 1st night if we were happy. We were not happy. Hotel grounds and rooms are nice, the 2 pools are both good and our first night went well. The... More
