Comfortable and neat it is located in serene surrounding. Close to the backwaters, the bus stand, the ferry jetty and not too far from the eating joints. Mr Joseph the owner gives great advise on how and what to see in and around Alleppey

Joseph and his family are very welcoming, our room was large and simple but had everything we needed for two nights. Very close to to the jetties and bus stand. Joseph organised us an amazing day tour of the backwaters with someone he knew - one of the best trips we did in India

I would say the family would be very happy to look after your luggage for you! They are very kind and helpful. With regards to the backwater tours, I don't remember the exact time they finished, but it was mid to late afternoon, perhaps around 5pmish. We were exhausted and dehydrated after our long day out in the sun, so I'm not sure I would recommend leaving the same evening. Things also move slowly out on the backwaters, Don't be surprised if you find yourself delayed. Perhaps stay one more night and catch the first train in the morning?
