Stayed here as part of a Geckos tour. Was slightly apprehensive about the idea of the home stay. But Ayana's is absolutely fantastic. Arriving to the home by house boat, it looks superb! A really warm welcome. The house is newly built and really comfortable. The bedrooms are beautiful! Also went swimming in the river beside the house. Dinner was... More

Stayed at Ayana's Homestay as part of an organised trip in July. House was beautiful, right on the river at the front and countryside at the back. Very clean rooms and towels, hot water and comfy beds. The food was excellent and the owner very kind and enthusiastic. Highly recommend a stay here.

Absolutely wonderful place with great food ,amicable people and breathtaking sights. The rooms were spotlessly clean and well decorated which unrolls a homely and pleasant atmosphere. The hospitality meted out to the visitors by the family is worth mentioning . Overall it was a memorable experience and I undoubtedly recommend this lovely homestay .

As a frequent visitor to all parts of India I would like to recommend Ayana's Homestay near Alleppey in Kerala. This homestay is run by Vinit and his family and is spotlessly clean, modern, with well decorated rooms with clean, up to date ensuite bathrooms with efficient plumbing. Vinit and his parents take great pride in the excellent meals that are made... More

Stayed at Ayana's homestay as part of an intrepid tour. The owner Gapnam and his son(?) were so welcoming and looked after us all very well. The rooms were spacious clean and cool with the option to add AC for 400 rupees. Hammocks at the back to lie in and you can also swim in the backwaters . We had... More

Mr. Venugopal, the owner, took us on a lovely walking tour around the (quite remote) village, explaining about various fruits, herbs, and farming - very engaging and interesting. The canoe ride back at dusk afforded us some beautiful views. The house itself has very picturesque waterfront views. Rooms and bathrooms are very modern and excellent quality, though it was too... We stayed here overnight on an Intrepid South India trip and it was a lovely tranquil way to spend the last day of our two week journey. The homestay was spotless and the host family was warm and welcoming. We were provided with great food with explanations about each dish we were eating. Kerala Backwaters is a beautiful area of... We came to this beautiful homestay on an Intrepid trip and it was definitely a highlight of South India. The owner was a wonderful, happy man and he took us on a lovely walk through the village, he had so much knowledge and passion. The meals were delicious, especially the dinner. The rooms and house were beautiful and clean and... More

We stayed one night here on an Intrepid tour and my only complaint is that one night was not nearly enough. I could happily have stayed here for a week or more. It's a new house built to very high standards and beautifully furnished. The rooms are very comfortable and the bathroom better than in a lot of expensive hotels.... More
