I was there for a few days in 2015. The gentleman running Yaklom lodge was such a wonderful, kind and gentle man. I came down with a stomach bug and spent three days in bed puking my guts out. Mr. Yaklom Lodge brought took great care of me, bringing me medicine. When I felt better and was ready to move...

I stayed at Yaklom for a night and found this place is different. in the morning you can have the most amazing feeling of freshness if you can sleep well at night. I had a good sleep. It is far from the main city area, natural and old. Once can have feeling of forest in day or night time. Rooms...

Was travelling with a group of 14 people, stayed here for 1 night. Amazing place, really feeling like living a real Cambodian experience. Miss Ratana and her staff definitely precious in organizing our perfect stay and visit of a near-by village. Food was excellent and delicious! Going back!

An absolutely beautiful setting with log cabins in the jungle and amazing scenery all around. However, for the money I found the service slightly poor and always having to get a moped/tuk-tuk to get anywhere a bit of a hassle. If you want the most remote place possible then definitely give Yaklom a shot but if you are keen to...

A lovely place in the last square meters remaining forest in Ban Lung. Clean and simple bungalows for 10$, breakfast included. Nevertheless, somehow you can feel that the owner resigned and will be leaving his work. Hopefully the successor will keep it in a good shape.

Resort literally hidden in the jungle. Rustic and basic wooden bungalows powered from 6 pm till 9:30 pm only. If you don' t mind it, go for it. The owner is very friendly and helpful and speaks good English. It is located approximately 5 kms from Banlung and close to the Yaklom lake, so mind you will pay 5 USD...

We stayed in Yaklom Hill for two nights and wished we had time to stay longer. The minimal wooden bungalows feel like you are in the middle of the jungle, mostly at night the jungle sound is amazing! The guy who runs the place, a Tumpun named Rin, is always smiling, truly helpful and originally kind. Basic comforts (as one...

We stayed here in 2005 and we had a wonderful experience. The cabins were cosy, the food was great and we were travelling with a 10 & 12year olds. This place was remote back then and I vividly remember the wild rooster crowing very early in the morning. Looking at more recent reviews it appears to have maintained its charm.
