We were extremely pleased with the accommodations at Khmer Hands. We stayed in a charming little chalet / cottage with air conditioning and hot water shower. The bed was comfortable and we had no problems with mosquitoes. The hosts are genuinely friendly and caring. The balcony restaurant served tasty food at very reasonable prices. Drinks from the bar are oh so refreshing. There is a quaint little craft shop with all sorts of Khmer fare. The grounds are beautiful with shrubs and trees. Parking is a bit of a trick, but I even saw the owner move his own vehicle out onto the street to accommodate the guests. We spent our time relaxing on the patio in a hammock. There are other restaurants within easy walking distance, and the Crab Market is only 1.4 kms away. Make this your go to place unless you "must" have a swimming pool. (I have a feeling Kris could help you out either way). We'll be back for sure.

We were very lucky to get two bungalows during the busy holiday weekend. It was such a pleasant stay. The grounds are beautiful and very well-kept. We love all the trees and plants. The bungalows are a good size, with a porch where you can sit out on and relax, or lay in the hammock! Rooms were very clean. We chatted quite a bit with the owner Chris and he talked about the staff being taught to pay attention to details while cleaning a room and it certainly is true! We felt extremely comfortable in our rooms, the cleanliness standards surpassed some more expensive places we've stayed. Chris is also happy to help with any information you need, or give ideas on what to do, or tell you all about the training center, life in Cambodia and so on! He is certainly a warm and friendly host! We also spent a substantial amount of time at the restaurant, which affords a view to the ocean. Very relaxing to sit and enjoy the breeze and read or have something to eat or drink. Everything we ordered there was good. The only minor complaints will be down tears and holes in the mosquito nets, and the water pressure for the shower is very low- sometimes such a small trickle I was afraid the water may just stop! Those aside we really enjoyed our time at Khmer Hands and feel good knowing we are indirectly supporting a worthy cause. Our best wishes to the continued success of Khmer Hands!

Nice quiet location to relax & unwind, chill in the hammock on the balcony. Short walk to great deli & restaurant at the end of the street, 10 to 15 minutes to the crab market. Friendly staff, comfortable bed, & a great business model of training locals to cook or sew. I wish I was there a bit longer, I'd definitely stay again.

Fantastic location away from the main centre with access to the national park. Chris and Naome were lovely hosts, very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. We booked our ongoing transport through them which included pickup. You could sit at the restaurant and have a drink looking out to the ocean while you waited. The raised, Khmer-inspired bungalow was stable and large with a clean private bathroom. We were lucky enough to have a local gecko hangout on the roof along with some spiders. Comfortable bed making for a wonderful night’s sleep. Woke up to the sounds of birds and the sights of butterflies flying through the lush foliage that runs through the centre of the property with frangipani trees, bamboo and fruit trees - mango and lychee. This greenery creates a curtain of privacy out your window. Due to the property being at the foothills of the mountain there is little natural light so you rely on the interior lights but it didn’t bother us. The restaurant is very convenient serving up delicious Khmer and western style meals all day long. You really don’t have to go anywhere else.
