First of all, avoid the room 4. (and may be the others if you read the comments before booking). The air conditioning compressor noise will not let you sleep. And the mosquito net is full of holes. The room was smelly, the garbage bin in the bathroom was full, which is still better than the underwear on the bed of...

I was disappointed by Le Flamboyant and would not recommend to stay here. Pro's 1. The rooms are lovely with good amenities 2. The pool is nice in a lovely garden setting 3. The atmosphere around the resort at night is lovely with all the lanterns Con's 1. Badly organized taxi from Prek Chak boarder - the driver held no...

Having just read the review fron Anand I felt obliged to respond as this was not our experience at all. We really enjoyed our 4 days over Christmas at the Flamboyant .Their prices are substantially lower than the other 2 hotels mentioned. The rooms we found to be very clean- in fact we really loved the character of the rooms....

The tour operator who organized our Cambodia trip (and who selected wonderful hotels in Siem Reap and Phnom Penh) indicated that Le Flamboyant would be about on par with the other top resorts in Kep, notably Veranda and Knai Bang Chatt. She steered us to Le Flamboyant as it has two pools which our kids would enjoy. We stayed 4...

The room is comfortable and nicely decorated, wifi is not very good but I wasn't expecting fast internet in that area. Breakfast is small, fruit juice is a terrible artificial drink, it is not a cheap hotel, I had better breakfasts in Cambodia in places I paid 1/3 of the price. Had dinner at the restaurant, some meals were good...

Management response:

Dear Lucia, Thank you so much for your review. Wifi is a constant point of attention for us, but it remains unstable in this area of Cambodia. I am sorry about the breakfast, we should have informed you that fresh fruit shakes are available as we should also have mentioned that everything on the breakfast menu is available to you...

Room itself was nice enough and the bed was the comfiest we'd had during our trip to Cambodia. Also quiet at night so you sleep well. Breakfast however, was quite poor. Barely 2 tablespoons of beans for your beans on toast, which had no butter with the toast being just bread not toast! Iced coffee watery and weak. The lighting...

I was in le Flamboyant alone, during my tryp around Cambodia. Everything was absolutely amazing, the super clean rooms, swimming pool, restaurant and for me the most amazing thing was the outstanding Staff team, always available and with a smile on their faces.

We stayed here for 5 days as we wanted somewhere relaxed to take out grandson away from the bustle of the city. It was the perfect place and I would recommend it for anyone with children. The resort was very quiet when we were there so sometimes we had the pool totally to ourselves. The pool was lovely, very safe for...

We stayed here for a few days at the end of our holiday to celebrate my 30th birthday. Even though the room I requested was not available for all of our stay, the manager was happy to give us one of the family rooms for our last night at a discount. The one thing I was slightly disappointed about upon...

Good location for crab carket - easy walk for great food. The national park is within walking distance. Good area to hire a scooter if you want more flexibility to explore - caves, pepper farm etc. There are 2 pools & a resident horse which is friendly, but can be a little annoying when it keeps coming onto your veranda....
