We had a great time staying at Eden Eco Village. The setting by the river was lovely, with the bungalows having steps down from the balcony to swim whenever we wanted. The staff at Eden were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Food was fantastic, with a range of food options and cooked fresh. There were also lots of things to do in the area, with staff happy to arrange tuk tuks or other transport options if necessary. We liked the sustainable touches that the centre had, particularly the kayaks and bikes that the centre provided for free. Overall we had a great stay and would recommend Eden Eco Village to all.
There was no electric in the bungalow. The rest room was broken, no lighting, no drainage for water. They gave us a bulb but it was not really enough for 2. If 1 of us take show the other will stay in the dark and vi-verse :( Besides, the water in the river was also dirty maybe because it is in the raining season now. We was a bit disappointed!
Eden is the perfect place to relax! It’s beautiful and calm. The food in the restaurant is great and they offer free kayak rentals. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was I found the staff difficult to approach at times and at night the hostel next door could be quite noisy.
Best place to stay for some relaxing days :) enjoyed the nice hosts, good food and delicious drinks at very reasonable prices. Rooms are spacious with nice views and the beach is super calm - almost no other people!
Absaloutely loved our stay at Eden eco Lodge. My girlfriend and I stayed for 3 nights and loved it. The breakfast lunch and dinners were delicious (if you're vegetarian or even if you're not, try the marinated tofu baguette you won't be disappointed). The free bikes and kayaks were a nice touch. Beautiful views with hammocks to enjoy them whilst reading a book 👌👍!! Be warned it is very eco got around 10 mins of electric in our room the whole 3 nights we were there, but there are charging points at the kitchen/bar area. Also mosquito spray is a must as the huts have mosi nets for the beds but otherwise your exposed. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Also if your a light sleeper pick up some earplugs as the fisherman head out early plus there's a hostel bar just next door. …
