Very good location right next to the river and next to many restaurants, bars, and stores. The host of the guest house, as well as the rest of the family staff, was incredibly helpful and accomodating. I highly recommend asking them for any help or tips for enjoying your stay in the area. The guesthouse will rent you a motorbike for $5 a day of you so choose. The bed was hard (which I can’t really complain about that aspect since every bed in Southeast Asia has been hard) and it was a little loud in the mornings, and it’s a bit warm in the room, but overall could not have asked for a more accomodating and hospitibal stay. I write this now while I wait in their beautiful lobby for my bus back to Phnom Penh that they booked for me and arranged pickup. 10/10 would recommend.
I had orginally booked for Paris II but on arrival, the lovely owner Sophea sent me to her other hotel as the other was full. The room comfortable and clean, and the bathroom was just amazing after a week of dorms. I had no air conditioning (only a fan), but I understand that if you pay extra, you can have it. Overall, a wonderful stay
They have moved to a new location on the park . Everything is brand new and top quality . The rooms are like a 4 star hotel . Well worth the extra bucks . Sophea from Paris 2 does the cooking and I think she is one of the best in town .
The rooms are nice and clean and reasonably sized. Excellent location for the nearby restaurants & bars, very central for Kampot. Not a bad view from the roof either. It's reasonably priced too. Well recommended.
well located, close to many restaurants and cafes etc, close to riverside. OK for the price. Rooms at the back were subject to very loud music at night. My door was loose and bangs with the wind, had to create a jam for it. The staff were very pedestrian at best, trying to check out was an ordeal, service is not really high on the agenda, but for the price and location, it was OK.
