Located at the quiet end on the riverfront, this relatively new boutique resort is private, peaceful and set in leafy, maintained surroundings. The staff are very pleasant and accomodating, the food is tasty, well presented and very safe for western tummies (the chef is a cool dude). The rooms are clean and regularly attended to. The gorgeous pool is a godsend. Just a 10 minute walk along the river to the main restaurants, I highly recommend this hotel for those who like to unwind from the hustle and bustle of a busy day touring the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you Yan.

Centrally located with nice pool which was long enough to have a proper swim. Excellent breakfast and obliging manager who swapped things around to give us a late checkout. Chinese new year celebrations were underway in a street celebration when we were there. Noisy, but added character.

We spent two weeks at Pippali while visiting family in Kampot and we were simply thrilled to have found such a comfortable and welcoming hotel. The bedroom was spacious with adequate storage. The shower room had modern fitments (even to the ‘soft close’ toilet seat!) and was the first place in fifteen years of coming to Cambodia which had hot water supply to the basin. The small garden and lovely swimming pool were a perfect size to relax. The large umbrellas were delivered while we were there and were a welcome addition. Excellent, freshly cooked breakfasts and a good varied menu if we wanted to eat here in the evenings (try the Pan Seared Sea Fish Fillet in a rich Coconut Sauce with Kampot Green Peppercorns - delicious!). Yan the French manager and his staff were very

This hotel has 6 rooms in front of a grassed area, a nice outdoors pool and a restaurant. The owner and chef are both very friendly and are always available to help you to visit the area. It is a short 5 minutes walk to the main area on Kampot and that is perfect as you can walk by the river to get there and get a great view. The nice thing about it too is that it is a quiet area. Renting a motorbike or scooter you get the freedom of being able to get to the mountain, Kep, pepper plantations etc. The rooms are modern and clean. They have both a ceiling fan and aircon, in-room safe and all the amenities. Knowing that this area of Cambodia can be dusty and hot coming back to the hotel having a good shower in a great bathroom and making it to the pool after is a great
