My friend and i had a wonderful stay at the Pippali hotel, the staff is incredibly friendly and we felt well cared for. It was a bit noisy, because of the construction next door, but the amenities, especially the swimming pool help us overcome this minor disturbance.
A cute hotel but it is under construction for an expansion. The noise was intolerable. We stayed one night then canceled and moved to the Boutique Kampot Hotel. I would suggest that you do not stay here just yet and wait until things are back to normal. Also Booking.com should make the status clear on their site to avoid disappointment.
I have just spent 7 nights at Pippali while visiting Khmer friends in Kampot. I got a good discount for staying several nights. The hotel is well located walking distance to the town but close to the river. Very nice setting with a shady garden. The salt water pool is also good and very clean. The room is spacious, well designed and bright and airy. The breakfast is tasty and copious with lovely home made jam. The staff is awesome, always friendly and helpful. I totally enjoyed my stay and will definitely come back next time I visit Cambodia.
What an awesome place! Very relaxed, very small. Great location. Just ten minutes from the downtown area. The food and bar was great as was the morning included breakfast The staff is superb and very helpful. The WiFi was great. The room was very large and kept up well. Great AC as well. The pool area was quite nice and relaxing will stay here again on my next trip to Kampot.
This hotel is lovely and right by the sea front too so you can take a lovely stroll in the evening. The staff are friendly and so helpful. The breakfast is very generous and the room is spacious and so pretty. It is a 5min tuk tuk ride from the center of Kampot.
