Not having told my wife that we were staying in "tents", explains the title of this review, along with the exceptional service we received which was beyond amazingly wow, hmm...interesting!(this was her response and she went around saying that for days) The staff was beyond gracious and accommodating, we had an incredible time and would certainly stay with them again. Everybody was professional, cheerful, and took all COVID precautions necessary, never once did we feel as though we were in any sort of health danger during the pandemic. There is a watering hole not far from the pool which the elephants like to frequent, and they made sure to call us over so that we could see them. The food was great and we don't have enough good things to say about this place. Don't let COVID stop you from the experience of a lifetime.

Tarangire National Park is one of the most beautiful parks in Tanzania and therefore offers a wide range of accomodation. However no camp or lodge can compete with Nimali when it comes to the perfect harmony of luxury and at the same time being close to nature. We had an amazing stay here including a private bush dinner at the fire place and also a private breakfast by the swimming pool with views into the wild. The tents here are all built on a stone plattform. Our tent overlooked the dried river bed and felt absolutely breathtaking as there was no other tent close by. We were basically all alone with nature. The bathroom and the interior of the bedroom are very tasteful and luxurious. What made Nimali outstanding was the amazing staff that took care of us so well and treated us like kings. We can't thank everyone enough - we will certainly be back!!!

This was the first camp we've stayed in and WHAT A CAMP! I absolutely loved every bit of the camp -- 5 STAR HOTELS TAKE NOTES!!!! When it comes to the rooms, it was absolutely immaculate with a big shower and a soft fluffy beds. When it comes to the food, I felt like I was in a 5 star restaurant. We arrived around 7PM and we were the only guests at that time. We had our own personal butler who served us bread, really hot and fresh soup (I could tell from the taste), glorious steak and potatoes and dessert. Breakfast tasted absolutely divine too! However, what really sold me were the people and staff of the camp. Reuben, the manager was absolutely a sweetheart! Our attendant Fadhili was quite chatty and shared a lot about the camp and their lives there. I absolutely loved it. The same with Gerard our butler. He was very kind and courteous and knew his stuff down pat (THAT TABLE SETTING WOWOWOW). ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!

After a long day on safari, we couldn't have asked for a more wonderful night at Nimali. We were greeted by several staff and the manager Ruben, all with big smiles, cold towels, and refreshing hibiscus juice. The manger personally briefed us on the the details of the lodge, dinner times, etc. and then we were escorted to our stunning "tent" along the riverbank. The "tent" was beyond expectations; spotlessly clean, beautifully appointed, massive copy bed,no bugs, and a wonderful shower! The view from both the bed and the outdoor deck were stunning. Be aware that at night, small animals may jump on the outer roof of the tent, don't be alarmed, you are safe, its all part of the charm of being in the middle of the Seregeti! We were advised that we were not permitted to make the short walk alone at night to the main lodge as there are no fences etc. to protect guests from animals. There are also no phones (or Tvs), so in order to call an escort, you simply flash the flashlight out the winder, and staff appear. The open air main lodge was charming, warm, and reminiscent of British Colonialism, with decanters of brandy, and oversized comfy furniture. We had a drink while waiting for dinner (ask for the popcorn snack...its delicious). We were escorted to a private table set up on the very edge of the property, within inches of the grasslands; Ruben was so helpful and accommodating as my partner celebrated a Birthday while climbing Kilimanjaro; this private, candle lit table was so special, I cannot thank him and his staff enough for making this happen. We had a staff member sitting close by (but out of sight) guarding us, and watching over the dark grasslands incase any unwanted animals decided they too were hungry! We heard hyenas near by but thankfully no visitors. The dinner was outstanding as was the service, it is clear that the staff take great pride in their work and have just one focus...to attend to the guests needs. Post dinner we enjoyed a drink in the main lodge, and were escorted back to our tent which had been prepared for our night. The blinds were closed, the bed turned down, and they do a spray to ensure there are no bugs. Breakfast in the open air restaurant the following morning was equally as delicious. We cannot say enough about this incredible and remote lodge. Ruben the manager was available at every moment, and is staff were all exceptional. Thank you for making our first night on safari so special and memorable!

We had two nights at Nimali Tarangire during our safari and could not have had a better time. The location is exceptional, the rooms were spotlessly clean with every amenity and the staff was beyond friendly and accommodating. Can't recommend enough!
