First experience with tented lodge. Large elevated tent cottages so not for mobility impaired. Large open dining area with great food and veranda for sunset viewing. Mosquito netting provided. Friendly, helpful staff. Pool was so nice after long day on safari.

Great place to stay while seeing tarangire. This is the most comfortable of many rural lodges in which I stayed over several weeks. It's right in the park, close to wildlife; you need an escort and closed shoes to leave your tent after dark and before light. Your entry deck overlooks a lake and lush vegetation

This was one of our favourite stays while in Tanzania. A bit of a hybrid as it’s a tent but built into a wood structure so more secure than just a tent. Views are incredible with lots of wildlife close. We had elephants visit the parking area! Morning hike is a nice touch to watch the sunrise.

One of our two favorite accomodations during out trip to Tanzania. The food was basic, but everything else was much beyond basic. The pool is hillside and so are the lodges which have views for days of the Tarangire National Park and nearby lake. Sangaiwe offer a morning climb free of charge and that is definitely worth while (a little under an hour return trip). All in all, we were very satisfied with our stay. A small tip: if its a windy night you need to find a solution to the curtains, so they don't fly everywhere during the night (including on you which meant that I (but not my partner) woke up several times).

We stayed here for two nights. We realised that the area is very hilly so asked for a tent close to the restaurant which we got, thankfully. The walk up from the car park is very steep but well paved. The tents themselves are lovely. Very airy and comfortable. The bathroom is beautiful with plenty of hot water. The view from the balcony is wonderful and over the trees there is Lake Burungi. The entrance gate to Tarangire National Park is literally less than two minutes drive away. A perfect location. The food was very good and plentiful. We had a packed lunch and their way of doing this was very good. All the available items were laid out on the counter and you filled your own box! What a good idea and a great way to save waste! Others could learn from this. The staff were lovely and someone was always on hand with a torch to see you to and from the restaurant in the dark. This site is not one for anyone with mobility issues. The tents spread a long way and is very hilly. Each tent also has a set of steps up to it. If you have problems tents 1 and 2 are closest to the restaurant and the car park. The one downside was the lighting in the tent (apart from in the bathroom) Just one brighter bulb would make all the difference. …

Our family enjoyed a very nice stay at this camp. We would like pass on good recommendations. The food was delicious. The pool heavenly after a day of safari and the dinning room with its panoramic views breathtaking. We would definitely return. Family H

We pasted a good time in this lodge , beautif view and the dinner and breakfast was good . The food was good .the staff is nice people .thank for this night .All was ok the lodges was clean and spacious for 3 people

Great stay here and very close to the park entrance. Fantastic staff. Very spacious "tent" that was more like a luxury cabin. Nice pool . You are on a hillside so great view from the room and from the wonderful bar/restaurant rea. Food was excellent. Beautiful at night with all the stars!

Stayed here after spending a day in Tarangire. The tented lodges are spacious and clean. Beautiful view overseeing the plains and lake. Dinner and breakfast were up to standard. There is no reason not to stay here after spending a full day in the park.

This tented camp on stilts provided the best view ever! The only negative was the hike up to the tent after a long day, but the reward was worth it! They also served coffee to the tent in the morning, which was a lovely bonus.
