The food here was fantastic! The chef did a fabulous job every night we were there. The accommodations were wonderful, always clean and tidy. The game viewing when we were there in early February was okay, not fantastic. This was primarily due to plenty of water available so the animals were scattered. The manager, Allan, did a terrific job and... More

Thank you for a great review. I am delighted that you enjoyed your stay and the food at the Conservancy. As Tsetse are not common on Manyara Ranch Conservancy, I assume you are referring to your visit to nearby Tarangire National Park where the tsetse are found in higher concentrations. We hope to see you again in the future. More

Manyara ranch is by far the best place I have ever stayed. Set away from the main tourist tracks it definitely feels as though you are on a proper safari. The tents are better than many hotels I have stayed in and the food is also top standard. The staff are also incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. 6/5 if I could!

This place is beyond amazing! The tents are very comfortable, clean, and feel more like a hotel room. The staff is extremely pleasant and accommodating. They had a baby Lynx on the property when I stayed and let me play with her whenever I wanted. Saw tons of animals right outside the camp area! Giraffes, elephants, water buck, antelope, ect..... We spent two nights in this magical place and still talk/think about it and miss it! This was our first safari-experience and it exceeded all our expectations. The welcome, the comfort and coziness of the tents, the friendliness and hospitality of all the staff, the quality of the food, the special sundowners, stargazing after dinner, the night game drive and... This was the most amazing place. From beginning to end, our time was wonderful. Alan and Ebenezer, our host/guides were the best. Fun, informative and felt like friends. Absolutely great food. Unforgettable! The time went by too quickly.

Customer service over the top!! Food to die for! The tent was fabulous!! Sitting around the fire after a day of game drives thar were breath taking. I could not express in words the experience we had. I highly suggest staying at least 3 nights minimum!! We stayed 5 nights with tears in our eyes at our departure!! Thank you... More

We stayed at manyara ranch conservancy for 1 night and it was a truly amazing experience. We were on safari through tanzania but found no other place to be truly in contact with nature in a secluded environment. No other jeeps, few guests and a cozy dining room made it unique. We did the walking safari as well as the... More

Manyara Ranch Conservancy is a lovely spot and made a very nice addition to our safari. We particularly enjoyed the night drive and morning walk, both of which Alan led. The various bird sounds were terrific, and as a bonus a few giraffes, almost on cue, wandered by a 50 yards in front of our tents.

Adjacent to Tarangire National park and in the migration corridor, this 35,000 acre park is full of animals. Except people. Only 8 tents. First class treatment, great food and beautiful property and animals. We listened to lions at night, heard a zebra walking around our tent and had great daytime views of giraffe, elephant, monkeys and more. Alan runs a... More

Our first stay in the bush in Tanzania could not have been more perfect. Because it is a conservancy and not a national park, there are a range of experiences available not found elsewhere. We took advantage of the night game drives and the walks. The setting of the camp is the best of African bush, spacious and extremely comfortable... More
