Absolutely stunning camp! Stayed here for 4 nights as base camp for 3 different parks (Tarangire, Lake Manyara & Ngorongoro). Arrived just after lunch when everyone else was out on safaris. Had the restaurant to ourselves and were asked what we'd like to eat! No menu, just anything you fancy! Decided to chill for the rest of the day so had the pool to ourselves for the whole afternoon. Evening meals were all brilliant, packed lunches with whatever you fancied and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Lodge itself was stunning and had everything we needed. Tips - bring a torch; if rain is forecast, arrange for the tent flaps to be put down (it pelted it down one night and everything on the dressing table got soaked). Would definitely go come back here.

Fantastic place to stay during the safari. Brilliant views of lake burunge from the reception area and pool. Rooms are a great size, with amazing views. All meals were delicious. I would highly recommend this accommodation to others during a safari.

The food was meh, the service was bad, and the accommodations were fine. Skip if you can or request your tour operator to use a different lodge. The lake is pretty far away but you can see flamingos way off in the distance.

We had an amazing time at Tarangire National Park as part of our 8 days safari after our Kilimanjaro hike, organized by Tanzania Horizon Safaris. My family absolutely loved the view from the terrace and the overall atmosphere. The food was really delicious, and they thought about every little detail and service was excellent. We enjoyed the sunset over the lake from our rooms and even spotted some buffalos at a distance. At night we heard a lot of animal noises which was quite an experience to be honest. We didn't expect that, but it contributed to the safari atmosphere. The next morning we jumped into the swimming pool to refresh before our safari continued. Overall we had a wonderful stay and can absolutely recommend this place

We stayed in the Simba room which was the farthest location from the main lodge at one end. The room was very spacious and included a bed with netting and two chairs and a table looking out onto the patio. The bathroom was separated with a toilet room and a shower room with a vanity and sink in between. There was also a cooler that provided hot and cold drinking water. Additionally, there were open shelves with plenty of space for your suitcases and a safe box. We found the room to be comfortable but slightly rustic. Inside was very dimly lit. The first night the flaps were not drawn on the windows and it left a lot of breeze coming through. The second night they were closed up all but the front one since it was a bit cooler that evening. We had a lot of animal noise during the evening including a pride of lions just outside our room that were roaring very loudly. It was quite the experience! The rooms do not have wi-fi but there is service in the main lodge. The pool had some kind of strange black bugs in the water so we decided not to partake. We found the food offered for breakfast and dinner to be excellent. And the drinks were reasonably priced. They provided security for walking back to your room after dark which was very appreciated considering the amount of animals roaming around the property. Nice location but be prepared for some bugs in your room. This is to be expected given you are in tented accommodations. They do provide spray for the critters and it is advised to put down your nets and spray before leaving for dinner.

As part of a combined tour Kenya and Tanzania, we stopped for one night at the Lake Burunge Tented Camp. The lodges have a lot of charm viewing the savannah and the dry lake Burunge. We really are sleeping surrounded by nature. We arrived late at the accommodation just time for a quick bath at the Happy Hour time. Food was very good. At the sunrise, we could already observe dik dik, jacals, mongooses and elephants. Really great place to stay where we had like to stay an additional night to enjoy more from the facilities.

We only stayed here for one night of our 6-day safari, but it was our favourite accommodation of the trip. Lovely tented lodges equipped with a beautiful bed, good toilet/shower facilities, and best of all a large screen window that allows you to watch the elephants wandering past from your bed (though you will probably want to get up and enjoy the even better view from your terrace - never have I been so happy to jump out of bed at 6am!). Lovely buffet breakfast and dinner, build-your-own lunch boxes to take out on safari, and good free WiFi reception in the lobby/restaurant area.

It was our first experience in a tented camp so we weren't entirely sure what to expect. The tents had running hot water and were very large. There was no heat or AC, but it was not needed (there was a fan). The rooms were clean. The food was probably the best of our trip and the packed lunches were nice as well. There was a watering hole where the elephants and other animals would come in the morning. We woke up to elephants outside of our tent on their way to the watering hole. Since this was a tented camp and open to animals, you did have to have an escort to and from your tent when it was dark, but the staff was very nice and you did not have to wait long for escorts.
