What a great lodge. Well appointed rooms. Very artful design to public areas, restaurant and reception. Extremely friendly staff. Short drive to the National Park. But be sure to take the tour with Tan-Swiss Guide Samwel Kalinga. He is a gem. He knows where to find all the animals and birds. He is very good natured and knowledgeable, and eager...

We only camped but even those facilities were spot on with clean bathrooms and even hot showers! Other friends said that the rooms were great as well but we did not see these. However the whole experience there was perfect the staff were very helpful. Also they arranged a day safari with their own vehicles and guide who from the...

Many of the basics have been covered in other reviews here....The rooms, staff, food, pool, and location were all good-to-great (especially for the modest price)! However, what really impressed us was the help we received when we had unexpected car trouble! We live in Dar and were excited to take our own 4WD SUV into Mikumi Park, rather than paying...

A cool atmosphere, nice food coupled with excellent service. It makes it a good stopover close to mikumi National park, UDZUNGWA falls or on transit to Southern Highlands of Tanzania. swimming in the sun makes it all exciting. The rooms are quite clean and you may want to try some outdoor camping.

The lodge offers nice bungalows and family with up to 2 children can stay inside but be aware it's only one room. Unfortunately there is no frigde in the bungalow. You have...

I led a team of twenty volunteers on a trip to Tanzania in June 2016. I had received good reports from previous volunteer groups and I was not disappointed. I arranged our stay and park tour by e-mail from Ireland. The responses were quick and clear. Our cars were ready and waiting for us on arrival and we lost no...

Stayed at Tan Swiss for one night. The place was close to the training centre which we were visiting and they had recommended us Tan Swiss. The place is off the main highway and right next to the national park. The facilities are good considering its a lodge. The food served in the restaurant is pretty good and it was...
