What a beautiful and homely place to stay. Have all that you need. Rene and Mary Anne are super hospitable and go out of their way to make you feel at home. The dinner and breakfast are real home cooked meals. The stories that the hosts tell are interesting and entertaining. Thank you we will be back.
Arrived to a warm welcome for a weekend getaway with another couple. Our unit was spacious and well equipped. Dinner was an absolute treat. Delicious food and generous portions served by a cozy fire place. The owners, Rene and Mary Ann, were gracious hosts and very accommodating. Highly recommend having breakfast here too.
Our week spent at the Kaijaiki Inn was brilliant, the rooms are cosy and beautifully decorated and beds superbly comfortable. Mary Ann and Rene made our experience in Yzerfontein so special. The breakfast was brilliant and we were made to feel very at home! A brilliant place to stay in Yzerfontein
We stayed a night at the delightful little cottage next to the restaurant. It was the warmest place we stayed in for our entire South African trip which coincided with a bad spell of weather. Thank you Rene for the electric blanket and heaters! Rene is an amazing cook - we had a delicious meal with hilarious company which gave us such a good feeling about the hospitality at Yzerfontein even though the flowers we had come to see were not at their best. We loved our stay - one of the highlights of our holiday and excellent value.
Great breakfast and pancakes! Even doing gluten free pancakes...Even have gluten free cookies on sale. Always caters for any needs. Rene is always ready for a challenge and loves a chat. Will be back.
