This is one of the best hotels around Kibale forest. It on the crater lake which sometimes hosts the Hippopotamus. They have fancy rooms very clean, however I have less time to test on their meals. The staffs are hospitable,
The staff presents the best customer care you will find amongst the region. Accommodation provided gives the best feel of home away from home. I liked the factor of not displaying any sort of racism. I currently consider it as one of the best foreign managed Safari lodge in the region
Owner / staff were very friendly. Property has some fantastic views and the rooms were super nice and clean. Especially enjoyed the walk through the local village and meeting all the children. Would definitely stay here again.
One of the best lodge in Africa :) High standard, great location on the volcanic lake with beautiful view, perfect service, delicious menu and very good wines. And the most important for me - beautiful people: the owners and staff very kind and helpfull anytime you need. I'll come back for sure.
Loved our 2 night stay at this beautiful little lodge. We were greeted warmly by the owner and staff, the rooms are lovely and have the most incredible view over the lake. The lodge we stayed in was at the level of some tree tops as there was a slope down to the lake. This meant that from about 5pm a large group of monkeys came to play and eat the seed pods in the tree tops directly by our balcony. Not many places on this earth you can shower while watching wild monkeys play outside the window! The food at the lodge was lovely, my only comment is that it would have been nice to at least have had a choice of main course as you were given the food with no warning of what it would be. Probably not great if you're a fussy eater (I am not!) The steps to the cottages are steep and rickety... This was pretty tough going when you've already been gorilla and chimp trekking and ache all over! But it's a small factor when you consider the beauty of the place.…
