Awful!! We stayed in a 2bd/2b. The “cabin” was not a cabin but a condo that was decorated to look like a cabin. It was very cheap looking and poorly done. The paneling was bowing out from the walls, the floor squeaked anytime anyone walked on it. If you walked in socks you better know how to ice skate because the floors became an ice rink. The furniture looked like something you would find at your local landfill. The barstools wobbled when anyone tried to sit on them. The chair was broken, the couch uncomfortable. When my daughter went to unfold the memory foam sofa sleeper, there were stains all over the mattress. The king size mattresses in the bedrooms were nothing more than a 20 year old foam mattress thrown on a piece of plywood. I have slept on air mattress that were more comfortable. Luckily we brought our own coffee because if you want more than the sample one they give you at check-in it will cost you $2 per bag. When we pulled out a coffee cup it was dirty with what I can only guess was dried sugar caked on it. Heaven help you if you get digestive issues when you are there, because you are only granted one roll of one-ply toilet paper per bathroom. If you need more, then you have to waddle to the office and beg for another roll. The same with paper towels and garbage bags. Towels are treated like gold, you get 2 sets per bathroom and you must trade those in for anymore. The only washer/dryer located on the property are coin operated and at that there are only 4 for the whole resort. The shower were obviously designed for someone under 5’7, because any taller than that you will have to squat to shower. The amenities are a joke. The private balcony was big enough for no more than two adults. I expected more for the amount of money we paid. This was my first and last time here

I am so sorry that you found your stay with us distasteful. We are sorry that the unit you stayed in did not meet your expectations. The experience you have described is not the typical experience at our resort, I truly wish I would have had a chance to correct the issues you encountered. We bid you happy travels in your future.

I am giving this 5 stars, not because it is a 5 start resort, but because it met/exceeded all of my expectations. This is a great home-base for your smokey mountain adventure. 1st, Pamela at front desk was super helpful and friendly. 2nd, and most important, rooms were CLEAN! I always do a bed bug check anywhere I stay. These mattresses were double/triple covered. We stayed in a 3 br unit. We were lucky to get the 3rd floor (top floor) The views were out of this world. Probably not as good on 1st and 2nd floor, but I'm sure still good. Might be the larger units are the 3rd floor? 1 bedroom was a loft that had a spiral staircase, which were a huge hit with kids. 1 bedroom had its own bath. Another bath for everyone else. A pool,, hot tub,, sauna AND steam room. Again, all clean. Nice little play are for kids with playground and sports courts. I do not understand the negative reviews. This place is great. Away from the tourist trap of main city of Gatlinburg. But still close enough to the national park. Our unit had faux hardwood in main areas and carpet in bedrooms. Stainless appliances, oil runned bronze bath fuxtures. Yes, a few areas of paint could be touched up, but nothing major wrong with unit at all. Never heard a peep coming from another room. Worst thing was our safe did not work. I WOULD STAY HERE AGAIN!!! Great for a family that wants convenience of having a kitchen and space for everyone. For reference it is June during firefly season, very busy time.

We've stayed here before and it's beautiful. The condo is nice but the upstairs bed, as well as the pull out couch bed, are absolutely awful. May not seen like a huge deal but when you spend your whole day being a tourist with minimal sleep and a sore back, it makes a big difference. The tvs are difficult to set up, too. But, the people at the office are super friendly and you can't beat the view!

We had a fabulous time. The views from every unit are amazing. The staff was friendly. It is a little further outside of Gatlinburg, so expect a 25 minute drive every day to get to town, but the quiet and views are well worth it.

Incredible Mountaintop Resort with some of the best views we have ever seen! This place has Everything! A hiking trail of their very own, grills, beautiful condos with kitchenettes, and a view we dream about! You truly do not even need to leave the resort if you didn't want to. A little grill and grocery store will deliver whatever you need. But if you did want to go into Gatlinburg, it's a short drive but far enough away to be secluded! To top it off, the manager Jami really cares about the guests! We cannot wait to visit again!
