Wonderful Inn and staff. Highly recommend this Inn. Dinner and breakfast were wonderful. The dinning room is very comfortable and the staff waits on you hand and foot. The cabins are very comfortable .Plenty of room and the bath rooms are are modern up to date.
This was our 3rd year celebrating New Year with friends at the Buckhorn. I love the quirky historic inn. The food is extraordinary. Never disappointing. Breakfast is hearty and don't miss the baked goodies in the afternoon.
This was our first bed and breakfast experience. It did not disappoint. We stayed in the Inn in premier room 2. Loved the view of the mountain and the room size was spacious. It was a cozy and quaint atmosphere. I would like to try one of their cottages next time.
My husband and I have stayed at the Buckhorn 3 times now, and it never disappoints. The staff are friendly and add a personal touch to the experience. We have stayed in one of the cottages, as well as 2 different traditional rooms inside the main Inn. Everything is exceptionally clean, well stocked, and comfortable. I HIGHLY recommend doing their onsite dinner - you won't find a better meal or service anywhere else in the area. The breakfast provided is equally divine, again paired with great service. The grounds at the Buckhorn are beautiful, with a mountain backdrop and walking paths to enjoy. You will not regret booking this hidden oasis - just DO IT!
We love the Buckhorn Inn. There is a great nature trail on the property and the Smoky Mountains National Park is a short drive away. Lee Mellor, the innkeeper is wonderful and very attentive. Evening meals and breakfast are a delight. They will prepare box lunches for you if you request the night before. We have been twice and will go again.
