We spent two nights at the Inn in Suite #1 with a private balcony and full view of Mt. Le Conte and the surrounding mountains. One evening a yearling black bear loped across the open area below us. It was really neat. Our stay was full of charm and grace. The room was very large, bright and appointed with lovely drapes, furniture and small touches that make you feel at home. The bed was super comfortable and linens very high end. Our breakfasts were cooked to order and the service was impecable. Everyone was so a friendly and willing to please. The setting is peaceful and quiet, a lovely repsite from the chaos of Gatlinburg. I can't say enough good things about this Inn.....it is an experience worth every penny. We are from Oregon, so my only regret is we don't live closer, to have weekend getaways etc.

We travel to the Buckhorn Inn every year because we love it!! It is absolutely our home away from home. We stayed in Cottage 4 this visit. Such a treat, better than a cabin. You get the best breakfast in The Smoky's, the best view's and room to walk around the gorgeous grounds. The afternoon treat's are always special. The 4 course dinner's are 5 star and not to be missed. Thank you John & Lee for being the best host's. The staff included they are all 5 stars!!

This was our first time at the Inn and not our last . We have rebooked for next fall but this time in the main building . We were in a cabin which was fine and the couple of concerns we had were handled immediately but think we will prefer the main building. The food was amazing and we met so many great people whom all seemed to be 'regulars' It was a very warm and relaxing 3 days and we look forward to returning. Debbie in the office was particularly helpful.

Buckhorn Inn is a beautiful and relaxing experience. The grounds are stunningly beautiful including a lake, walking paths, labyrinth, and loads of trees, plants and flowers. The folks there are like family, friendly and helpful and you end up being totally spoiled by the end of your stay. Plan on putting on a few pounds as the food is simply scrumptious! Once home you will find yourself planning your next return trip!

We had a wonderful relaxing three days at the Buckhorn Inn with friends. The Inn is located in the Great Smoky Mountains with an easy drive from Knoxville. Our preferred room #2 was spacious with a very comfortable Kingsize bed. The chef prepared delicious meals...really enjoyed the poached eggs on crab cakes for breakfast. The dinners were outstanding. It was so nice being treated so well in such a beautiful setting. We will be back in the Spring.
