I see these reviews from 2016. We stopped there in the early 1980's. Fell in love with this place! It had real wood paneling and tiled flooring back then. Was clean as a whistle. LOVED the screen doors. I think we paid $22 a night. Awesome! I hope it has survived the horrific fire from Nov. 29th, 2016. If we... More

We were looking for a reasonably priced place to stay during our trip to the mountains. We were pleasantly surprised by this quaint motel. It reminded us of traveling with our parents years ago. Easy in and out. Easy walk to town and shopping. Great staff who took care of our luggage since we had to change rooms for our... More

We spent a long weekend in Gatlinburg, TN and stayed at Marshall's Creek Rest Motel. This place caught my eye when I was looking for a place to stay, small, quiet, close to downtown and it didn't disappoint. We were coming down to ride our Harley in the mountains for the weekend. I had asked when I made the reservations... More

Motel may be old but it's nice and clean. The staff there is also very helpful and friendly. They are located about 5 mins from The Village in Downtown Gatlinburg. We didnt get a chance to enjoy the pool but it looked very inviting..we will definitely go back

We have stayed here many times before. No frills. Just a plain, clean room at a very resonable price. The new pillows and mattress are an added plus! New owner since we last stayed but he seems to care just as much as Ms. Betty. We will be back.

Our family really liked this motel. It's off of the main street enough to not feel extremely busy, but only a couple minute walk to be on the main shopping areas, and also close driving distance into the park. The staff were all very friendly and worked to make accommodations for our stay. The cleaning staff also does an excellent... More

We have stayed at MCRM many times. The first time we saw it we were riding the trolley. The clean quaint atmosphere and the screen doors were what attracted us. Clean clean clean! This place is clean! We love staying here. No frills or extras but we really don't need them. Two comfy beds, clean sheets and towels. TV, microwave,... More

This motel is located a short walk from the parkway of downtown Gatlinburg. The area is quiet with easy access. The room was clean and simple, no frills (none needed). The outdoor pool was also very clean and inviting. This will be my go-to place anytime I visit Gatlinburg.

This motel is a great little place in Gatlinburg. It is very nicely located in just off the parkway and very close to the Great Smokey Mountain National Park. The hotel is very clean. The rooms are very basic and the beds are comfortable. The pool is also very nice. We will defiantly come back soon.

Let's start with the good stuff: *Great pool - clean, shaded in the late afternoon. Functional, secure gate. *Location - just off the main drag in Gatlinburg, away from the noise but close enough to walk anywhere. *New mattresses, clean bedding - NO bugs! *Homey atmosphere with a lot of front porch sittin. And then the not-so-good. I suspect we... More
