Just stayed for 3 nights with my family. The setting is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and well equipped. All the staff was incredibly attentive, especially Jason who answered are many many questions over the course of the stay. They gave us spot on advice for the best hikes and ways to explore the park. Looking for a hotel to stay close to Smoky Mountain National Park before starting a backpacking trip to Mt. LeConte in the park the next day. Found Buckberry online and made a reservation, What a surprise, while the website looks good, we weren't prepared for how nice and relaxing the place was. Just a short drive from Gatlinburg, but worlds... More

The rooms were comfortable, as well as rustic beautiful. Normally, I have back problems from the beds when we stay somewhere, but not here! Each room has a balcony that overlooks the gorgeous... Went with my husband, our 4 year old and 16 month old daughter and our stay was fantastic. The website and pictures don't do it justice; we were overwhelmed at how beautiful it was. The view of Mt LeConte is the best in Gatlinburg. The creek side pavilion was amazing, we enjoyed a whiskey and the fire, but the real... More

For the last several years my husband and I have stayed at this wonderful, secluded and beautiful facility. Our room was in Building 5 where we watched the tram cars go up and down the mountain. The lodge kitchen has been expanded and morning breakfast (included with your room) served homemade biscuits, real scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon. This is more... More
