Super nice location, everything was all set up even though we arrived past check in. They had a nice sign in sheet posted on the board after hours. Fresh towels, laundry machines, tiny little store, etc. Penny was super welcoming and helpful, we were able to grab a few books and games during our time to return when we checked out. The glamping concept makes a short impromptu trip to the woods awesome. However, I will say, part of the convenient charm also means that’s it’s located right off of a major road so if you’re looking for complete silence, it may not be the best choice for you seeing as you can still hear the freeway in the distance. If that doesn’t bother you, then you’re in luck! Only 15 minutes from Gatlinburg, there are restaurants and gas stations miles down the road in case you need to grab something quick. Can’t wait to return!

This sweet little place is right up from the Gatlinburg strip, 5 minute drive. We stayed in one of the retro campers, perfect for just the two of us. The dining table converts to a makeshift full sized bed - bring your own sheets, blankets, pillows. There’s a small window unit sized AC and also a heater on the counter. Both worked great. The fire pit outside the camper was great - bring your own firewood. The only negative would be having to walk to the bath house in the middle of the night but it is camping remember. The bath house is clean and even decorated, washer and dryer available. Perfect place if you want the camper feel but don’t have your own and don’t want to sleep in a tent.

Since the pandemic started my two 6 year old daughters have been asking about "glamping". We found this place based on a parenting blog that I follow and decided to check it out. We stayed in Tree House 1. The main reason we went with the tree house is because of them having a bathroom with a shower inside of them. My daughter tends to go to the bathroom a lot at night and I didn't feel like making the trek to the bath house at 4 am. Also with young kids, it's easier to shower them in our own personal bathroom. The treehouse has a small bathroom with a toilet, sink, and shower. There is a large bed and a loft area with a mattress pad. Be aware that there is electricity, but no heat or air conditioning. Instead of windows, the walls of the treehouse are screens.............similar to a large screen porch. We chose a weekend in October in hopes to enjoy some fall weather and see the leaves changing color. During our weekend, it dropped to about 40 degrees at night and it was cold in that treehouse. We had blankets, sleeping bags, and a heated blanket to keep us warm at night. We cooked most of our food at the fire pit outside the treehouse. There is also a charcoal grill. I will admit that you are above the camper area of the resort and the sound does travel up but I did not find it annoying. Be aware the this is very close to the parkway and another side road and you will hear traffic throughout the night. Even though it was cold at night, we all had a great time and I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a camping experience along with some nice amenities.

Happy to have found such a welcoming campground! We camp in a roof mounted tent and had been turned down by other campgrounds in the area. Enjoyed the small size of the campground and the amenities offered. The laundry facilities were a plus! Being on the trolley route was a plus too! Will most definitely be back!
