Unless you really must stay in Baker, I recommend passing this place by. You check in at the bar in front, which prides itself on carrying over 40 different brands of beer. Then drive through the campground clutter to arrive at one of the six motel rooms. The door lock on room six is in poor working order making it... More

Everything is gravel, sites roads (hard to distinguish between them). But everything worked. Even got TV on antenna, and decent WiFi. The big plus, the park is 100 yards from the road to the National Park.

We were rained out of tent camping in Bryce and decided to get a motel for the next night. The Whispering Elms Motel in Baker NV had a vacancy and a great rate, so we decided to try it. The RV park / motel complex looks old and unimposing from the outside, but our room was well-maintained, clean and cozy.... More

I booked this park on the recommendations from this site and it was great. Very basic but everything worked including Wi-Fi! We've been in parks that were twice the price that had awful services. Clean showers ( my#1) too!

Overall a nice place. The owners happily shifted our reservation due to some changes in our travel plans and happily welcomed us despite our late check-in. The hotel room is older but comfortable. You're out in the middle of nowhere so don't expect super luxury; be glad you can stay immediately outside of Great Basin NP. Owners were super nice... More

I am a frequent traveler who loves to stay in mom and pop or privately owned small motels. This one is a combination RV park, motel, lounge, bar with laundry on site. I stayed in Rm 2 in the motel section. Nice shade over the parking area(a big plus in the Nevada desert) The decor is dated but the rooms... More

Their motel rooms are comfy and clean, staff was more than helpful. We stop way after dark, bar was already closed but the manager open up to give us the last room of the motel. Room offered a king bed and a pull out couch with a queen bed in it.

There are not a lot of options near Great Basin National Park and this is a good option. The people are really nice. The room is acceptable -- could be a little cleaner and needs some repairs but not bad. Had a little difficulty checking in but after that it was nice.

We had a nice three night visit to this RV park. The facilities are a bit 'retro' but the park, restrooms and showers were very clean. The staff was friendly and pleasant, and worked hard on the grounds every day we were there. There is no grass here (it is a desert!) and the large gravel covering the sites was... More

Staff helpful and lots of fun. High temps ranged from 96 to 103 so we were glad we had the full hookups to run the AC. While facilities are dated, they are very clean. The staff maintains the facilities and run the bar. No food. Worth the stay
