Friendly staff on front desk and in restaurant. This is a unique place...Motel Office is located in NV...walk across the parking lot and stay in the motel located in UT...good reason for calling it "Border Inn Motel!" No Veterans or any other type of discount (as in none). If you have arrived at this place you are as far out in the middle of nowhere as you are going to get...so, whatever is the going rate someone will be willing to pay it!! The facility is old and semi-clean, with almost zero amenities in the room (you do have a TV that has poor reception). By the amount of doggie poop in front of you motel door you can guess the facility is pet friendly (only if you occupy a smoking room and $10 extra charge applies). Be careful not to step in it and track it in your non-pet friendly room!! Has a small grocery, casino and restaurant inside. Food is not bad, price for food is reasonable...probably will not stay here again unless I get stuck out here in the middle of nowhere again at bed time!!!

I was able to get one of the last open RV spots over the Labor Day weekend. Considering the RV park is right behind the only gas station for miles, it was surprisingly quiet. The bathroom/showers were clean and stocked (I mention this because the RV park I stayed at the following night was dirty and had no TP or soap) The staff was friendly. The sunset and star-gazing was fantastic. I just wish they had WiFi. I would stay here again.

We had five couples with rv's in their rv park. It's $25 per night, and you pick your space. The sites were amazingly level with full hookups. No wifi. The staff was helpful and courteous. We also ate at their restaurant, and the food was good. It's very convenient to Great Basin National Park.

Had a family reunion at the border inn. Food at the restaurant is good and the owners are wonderful. The inn is kind of like a motel 6 but comfortable for the price. You can even play slot machines on the Nevada side.
