The food and people were great, the only complaints I have is the rooms are not worth $100 a night, the Wi-Fi kept going in and out with a weak signal and I had no hot water the night I checked in or the next morning while taking a shower.

This is great spot for a base camp when visiting Great Basin National Park. All of the RV sites are pull throughs, well spaced, and with terrific views of the mountains and very bright stars. A very special charming touch are the solar lights hanging in the trees at your camp site, that make a pattern design on the ground, while giving a soft safety light for a few hours. Also water and feeders set out for birds, you can enjoy from your RV table and couch. The staff are very local and focuses on improving your stay. They have a gas station and small store. A small casino and bar. Also a restaurant, that we did not use, but smelled yummy. We have a 33' fifth wheel and Laramie 3500 dually. We had plenty of room at our site for both. Very easy to maneuver in and out of the sites. You can set your chairs up at night in your site and see so many bright stars, planets and satellites. Very quiet and respectful campers all around.

Clean spacious camp/RV site in the desert on the Nevada/ Utah border. Very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant offers a good variety of choices with delicious pies and a lamb stew not to be missed. Highly recommended. We will be back!

We had a room for 4 nights at the Border Inn. The room was small with two beds on springs, a bit noisy but we slept well. The bathroom was good with strong shower and hot water. Two shower heads made it convenient as we are about 12 inches different in height. The mini fridge kept our drinks cold. We did not use the microwave. Meals in the restaurant we good, plenty to eat and reasonable prices. Staff was pleasant and pleasing. AC and Heat worked well. All in all a good experience. Frank and Loretta

For a budget hotel in what feels like the middle of nowhere - this place was so much nicer than I expected. On first appearances my room was dated but it was spotlessly clean. Being one of the only options in a remote area I appreciated that they take care of the older property and ensure the cleanliness. Reception is at the gas station and casino and 24 hours. Everyone I encountered at the reception was super nice. In sum, if you don’t have a tent or an RV and want to visit the Great Basin NP this is a good option.

First time seeing the Milky Way... the night skies are amazing. Good location if you want to be in driving distance of a lot of national parks, and nature. The food was also surprisingly good. I enjoy the burger and for breakfast the French toast

This is in the middle of nowhere on the Utah Nevada border near Great Basin National Park. Considering the location it was a reasonable place to stay. We stayed in the RV park which was full hook-up. The only internet was at the office. The staff was attentive an pleasant.

We stopped in Baker to visit Grand Basin NP on our journey to move me from Oklahoma to Nevada. We had some difficulty finding somewhere to stay in the area until we stumbled upon the Border Inn. Despite its unassuming appearance, we really enjoyed the Border Inn! The quirkiness of the welcome to NV/UT signs, the slots, and the isolation of the area was super fun and different. Our room was small but definitely clean and suited us well. We felt very safe during our stay. We needed a quick dinner, so we went to the cafe and were very pleased by the prices and the quality of the food ($3 draft beers!!). In the morning, we left at sunrise to climb Mt. Wheeler (which I also recommend !) and were able to get coffee from the 24-hour convenience store before we hit the trail. If you are in Baker, this is the place to stay.

Being on the edge of nowhere... I give the Border Inn and Casino a huge thumbs up! Struggling with Covid-19 and all the variants, the staff and guests have done an awesome job to prevent the spread of the contagion! Enjoy your stay... :)

We only stayed one night at the RV park. Full hookups, $30! Gravel spaces that are pretty level. Did not use any of the other facilities like the shower etc. I would probably stay again in a pinch. Close to the Great Basin NP.
