I have not been at the Gunflint Lodge in the winter season but I have a sister who lives in Ely, on the edge of the Boundry Waters and about the same latitude as Gunflint. They have not been seeing any Aurora Borealis... More

We do not have a Brew Pub, but we do serve a variety of beers from neighboring micro brewers. A new Brew Pub is just opening in Grand Marais, about a 45 minute drive away.
