The pictures and positive reviews are true to my experience. This was better than staying in a hotel room. The apartment-style room was clean, new and quiet. My only recommendation would be to upgrade the mattress - it was too hard. Otherwise my family plans to stay here again if we ever visit Page again.
We chose this location because their website stressed they are COVID safe and have a contact-less check in. However when we arrived, we were asked by an unmasked employee to go into the office to pay for our room. I imagine the cleaning staff do not wear masks either. My husband is immuno-compromised so this was an issue for us. In addition, about two hours after checking in we learned our granddaughter was ill and we needed to leave first thing in the morning. The motel charged us for all three nights when we stayed only one. We would not have been charged this if we had stayed in a hotel. The apartment was otherwise clean and well equipped with the exception of very scratched up and unusable teflon pots and pans.
We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment. It was clean and it was nice to have the extra space. The only negative thing is that there is only one split in the main room for heat and a/c. If you close the bedroom doors at night, like we did due to a family member to snores, the heat or a/c isn’t going to make it into the bedrooms. There were multiple large fans and a space heater in the bedroom closets which may help.
Lake Powell Motel was a perfect place to stay and explore Page, AZ. We were in town for the Lake Powell Half marathon. Great location, clean and quiet! Definitely will stay here again! We were within walking distance of restaurants and grocery store and shopping.
We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment and loved having all the room to spread out. I looked at some of the midrange chain hotels in the area but chose this motel because of the price, location (easy, short walk to the start of the Lake Powell half marathon), and great reviews. It was wonderful having a full kitchen, a real living room, and plenty of closet space. This would be an ideal choice for longer stays. It doesn't look fancy (especially from the outside) but it is clean, convenient, spacious, and has a lot of thoughtful extras (outdoor seating, grills, board games, etc.)
This hotel is fantastic. We were here for 5 days at the end of July and enjoyed every minute of it. Mark has a wealth of knowledge about the area and made some fantastic recommendations. I honestly can’t say enough about how wonderful our stay was.
Unit was clean and comfortable, locally owned and in a good location. Mark provided us with several good recommendations for food and sight seeing. Kitchen was well stocked for brining in groceries for breakfast. A nice change from chain hotels.
Checked in after dark and wasn't sure what to expect. But this place was fantastic! Very quaint and comfortable. Traveling with a family of 4 this wass just the break we needed from all the boring hotels. Full kitchen, great shower, comfortable bed plus we had a nice little fire at night. Location was great, BBQ smells drifting from across the street with a fun Saturday night band playing until 9pm. Well worth trying out something different!
We enjoyed our stay at this motel. I suggest you read the origins and history of the motel and look at some of the pictures; if we were in Page again we would stay here for a lot of reasons: clean, renovated, air conditioned (with a mini-split unit in each unit), apartment-like setting with living area, full kitchen with built-in eating bar and stools, partitioned bedroom, and knowlegeable and friendly owner/manager. We were only here one night; we could stretch out and relax. This motel would be ideal for multiple night stays. Since there is a full kitchen, coffee maker and full size refrigerator, no breakfast is provided by the motel. Coffee and filters are provided and the kitchen is equipped with plates, mugs, silverware, etc. There are grocery stores in town. Owner/manager gave us some information on the area and we were able to visit the locations he suggested. We had pre-planned where we were going to eat, but took his advice on the bar-b-que restaurant nearby--it was excellent! I'd suggest that anyone staying here who wants to look around the area should get suggestions/input from owner/manager as he is quite approachable and seems to know a great deal about the area.…
Lake Powell Motel was perfect for us and a great change from the hotels we stayed at over our 10 day road trip! Our family of four stayed for two nights during our visit to Page and Lake Powell area in a two bedroom apartment with full kitchen. We had room to spread out and have our own space. My husband grilled burgers on the outside patio area one night and we went next door to BBQ restaurant that was playing music other night. We really enjoyed visiting with Mark, the host, who also made some recommendations for local activities and must Dos!! So glad we chose this place after reading other reviews on trip advisor!!
