The staff are absolutely wonderful, friendly, knowledgeable and dedicated to making your visit the very best. My room was huge and comfortable and the bath had more than the normal personal care items. The lodge itself is amazing and the setting is spectacular. We saw lots of wildlife around and the staff arranged for various excursions. I hope to be...

Bear Track inn was one of our best places to stay on our 3 week trip to Alaska. Everyone at the inn was so friendly and made our stay very enjoyable! The rooms were large and comfortable and very clean. In the afternoon they served cookies and apps before dinner in the beautiful great room. The meals were all absolutely...

This was our forth visit to this family owned and operated rustic log facility, designed by the husband and still operated by his wife Janie. SERVICE is th official motto of this Inn. From arranging your arrival and departure, by ferry or aircraft, to acquiring tickets for the National Park Bay tour boat, setting up whale watching or halibut fishing,...

Beautiful Inn in a wonderful setting! The staff is young and friendly and happy!!! Food was outstanding. A gigantic pleasure to experience the real Alaska of Bear Track Inn. The stunning setting, mud road and rain included, the staff of uncomplicated people enjoying and helping people, made it seem like going to camp. Love the wellies lined up for pleasure and wonderful meals included.

Thank you for your delightful review. Even in the rain, Alaska is amazing. The glaciers make their own weather- they are much brighter, the ice is bluer, and you are likely to see more animals. The whales are generally more active as well. You can't go wrong no matter what the weather is.

This was one of the best places I stayed. Very homey and the staff was the best. Everyone wanted to help in any way possible, and they also made sure the excursions were booked and that you got the most out of your excursion by giving you tips you would not have known about.
