Ann and I stayed here several days. The area was remote yet within minutes of the airport, Glacier Bay, the ferry dock, and "downtown" Gustavus. We walked to a historical airplane crash site, saw a moose cow fairly close, went whale watching, took the tour of Glacier Bay, and were driven into town several times. Jan and Ela provided excellent...

The name says it exactly. this remote southeast Alaska. A handbuilt homestead with full comforts and delightful hosts. We felt secure, welcome, safe and pampered. Whales and glaciers are around every corner and your hosts will make sure you find them. It is a trip to get here so plan no less thna two nights if you are from Southeast...

I wished we lived next door to this couple! They were marvelous hosts and created a warm inviting atmosphere for us in their home. They seem to attract other friendly likable people because the other guests were also easy to be with. Jan, who is a jack of all trades, was at the airport to meet us and was our...

The hosts were very friendly and knowledgeable. They offered a dinner meal, which was incredible, and it was for a competitive price. There was free use of bicycles to help you get around and they had great insight of the area and venues. The only downside are the beds...loud and not very comfortable. Still, it is well worth the intimate...

We really enjoyed our 4 night stay at Wild Alaska Inn. Our room was comfortable and clean, the food was delicious, and the hosts - Jan and Ela - were delightful. Providing transportation to/from airport and ferry, plus bikes made it really easy to get around without a car.

Jan & Ela were excellent hosts during our two-day stay in their lovely hand-crafted home. Our room was large, scrupulously clean, and reasonably priced with comfortable beds and pillows. Public space was friendly and accommodating as well. We were treated to fabulous breakfasts of french toast/pancakes with fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, maple or homemade birch syrup, fresh preserves, juice, coffee,...

After several days of sea kayaking out in Glacier Bay very early in the 2016 season, I sorely needed somewhere warm, comfortable and quiet to rest and clean up for a few days. Wild Alaska Inn came to my rescue! I was overwhelmed by the kindness and hospitality of the owners Jan and Ela and regretted that I had to...

My only regret is not being able to stay longer! A wonderful family run place that felt more like staying with a friend. The guest accommodations were clean and comfortable and well priced. They have bikes you can borrow. Jan is a great cook, and whipped up a fantastic dinner for my fellow guests.I'm a vegetarian, and didn't make dinner...

We enjoyed very much our several days here last year. The hosts, Jan and Ela, were a very nice and and welcoming couple who shared readily their knowledge and love of this beautiful area. Besides, their life experience is also very interesting and the subject of lively discussions around the dinner table. Last but not least, the food is plentiful...

“The room we stayed in is the only one with a private bath, so I would recommend that room. It's on the main floor, right off of the living area. It also has a quasi private deck.”

“le stanze al piano terra sono 2 :la piu' grande ha anche il bagno all'interno l'altra purtroppo ha un bagno in comune e questo e' l'unico neo trovato in questo B/B anche perché per recarsi devi attraversare il salotto. le stanze al piano superiore sono 3 e tutte dividono un unico bagno in comune. quindi se disponibile, quella con il bagno e' la camera consigliata anche perché molto spaziosa.Noi eravamo in 6 e solo 2 di noi hanno avuto questo privilegio !!”
