Our Road Scholar group stayed here and found this place to be remarkable. The food was wonderful, simply top of the line. Owners and staff are very friendly and run a great show. Be forewarned, however, as they are trying to sell the place.

Dave and JoAnn have Alaskan hospitality dialed in. Along with my dad and my brother, we had a remarkable time both fishing and being taken care of by the staff at the Gustavus Inn. From travel transfers, to making space for us when our flight out was cancelled due to weather, the entire team is focused on service. What a...

There is nothing you could want that the host couldn't provide. We had a very nice room with a private bath. This Inn provided 3 meals a day, although we were only around for two. Breakfast is made to order, offering eggs, meat toast and pancakes. They have fresh rhubarb jam and spruce tip syrup on the table. We had...

My wife and first travelled to Alaska in 1994. We stayed at the Glacier Bay Lodge in the Park. Our second year we stayed in Elfin Cove but knew we wanted to come back to Gustavus and stay at one of the B&Bs. In 1996 we stayed at Gustavus Inn for the first time. Since that first time we have...

We are also grateful for your patronage and look forward to your arrival every year. We have enjoyed meeting all of your "family" and the wonderful bounty of Texas you bring with you! We will always look forward to that time of year with delight!

This is a very unique property and we felt fortunate to be able to stay here. It's an old and very well maintained lodge that is family owned and run. Few of these still exist and what makes this special is the authentic Alaskan hospitality that the hosts and employees provide. You feel like family. And, yes, the food is...

Stayed elsewhere, but went here for dinner once. Really, really good food. You don't pick from a menu -- there's food on your table and you take some of each plate, as much as you want. You also don't get your own table; you sit around a table with about eight other people. So it's a chance to get to...

I'm so glad I found the Gustavus Inn on TripAdvisor when looking for places to stay in during my trip to Alaska. The Inn turned out to be an old style place that welcomed and treated its customers as honoured guests rather than "customers". From the time Dave Lesh helped me organise my trip to the time he picked me...

Our stay at the Gustavus Inn was one of the best experiences we had while on our trip to Alaska. We had been in Alaska about three weeks before the last few nights we had in Glacier Bay at the Inn and it was a very warm and welcoming environment. The Inn is gorgeous - very cozy, clean and comfortable...

We just returned home from 8 days in Alaska and Glacier Bay NP and Gustavus Inn were our favorite places. Dave was very helpful when I was planning the trip and advised on excursions/ferry schedule/flights. The Inn booked our full day boat trip to the park, our charter flight to Skagway and provided all transportation. Dave is everywhere; hauling your...
