This was our first stop on a Canada holiday and it was a great start. From the first email contact with Curtis no request was too much and when we arrived it was like becoming part of a very warm and welcoming family. The hospitality was an amazing complement to the beauty of Alaska and we will never forget Curtis... More

We had an awesome experience at Glacier Bay Country Inn, since our arrival I felt like a VIP, walking down the airplane stairs, Gustavus is only a 12 mile remote beautiful town, not too far from Juno, Ak and the airport is small, the people are very courteous and nice, the staff from Glacier Bay Country Inn were waiting for us... In our trip to Alaska we were scheduled to stay 1 night in Gustavos. On our scheduled departing day airplanes could not land or take off which forced us to stay another night there. As our original lodge was fully booked we found ourselves in Glacier Bay country inn. What a place!!! The setting is beautiful, the cabin that we... More

I felt more like family then a guest at an Inn. Great place to get away from the cell phone. Warm staff made us feel right at home. Very relaxed place. Nice grounds, rooms were comfortable, food was great! Game room was fun and the movie room was enjoyable also. Great place to stay. I'd go again!

Great fishing, awesome scenery, topped off with great food and service. If you stay here you will want to come back again and again and you will have life-long memories. I've stayed here two years in a row and I will definitely be back next June.

We had a great time at the inn. We chose it because we wanted to be near Glacier Bay National Park, but not necessarily stay in the park itself. Curtis and the staff at the inn were great at making arrangements for us, driving us to where we needed to be during our stay, and providing information about the area.... More

For a relaxing, carefree atmosphere, fine meals and pleasant surroundings this place is hard to beat. Everyone, is happy, and wanting the guests to enjoy their time with them. The rooms, cabins and dining room are clean, well kept and attended to each and everyday. And fishing is quite good, Curtis provides the shuttle to the dock, just wanted to... More

This is a hard one, because I really like the family and what they offer here. This is a beautiful setting for a lodge, with a open spacious feel. They staff are wonderful and they do anything for you. The chef is superb, with great meals at breakfast and dinner. Really first class food. This has very much a family... More

1st, Curtis ROCKS, plain and simple. I don't know how he is able to keep everyone straight let alone all of 'our' comings and goings every day but he does it. That being said, all the folks working there work their proverbial behinds off. I really thought there were more employees than there were b/c they get so much done... More

Wonderful family-run resort without the feel of a resort - more like visiting an extended family summer place, from the pick-up at the ferry dock and the ride into the forest, where we entered a vast clearing with large lawn and charmingly odd main building, and several separate log cabins - and another building that is in effect a very...
