We stayed in deluxe room the first night because our 2 queen bed room was double booked so we got a free upgrade the first night. The room was gorgeous and spacious with everything you could possibly need. The second night we stayed in the smaller room and it was beautiful as well with a great big shower. After that... More

You need a good GPS or local help to locate but finding the Inn was definitely worth the effort. The Inn is beautiful, Immaculately maintained, peaceful (save for the occasional nightly train movements), and very comfortable. Danny was very helpful with a long note posted to the door for our late arrival. Breakfast was plentiful with loads of fresh strawberries... More

To set proper expectation, this is not a bed and breakfast and doesn't pretend to be. The location is a little remote so you will want to bring food along with you. A free continental breakfast is included but very limited and unattended. There is a lot of attention to detail throughout the place and after looking around at the... More

We just got back from 4 nights at the Great Bear Inn. We loved every minute of it! Danny and Senna were very accommodating, we were booked in two different rooms and they cleaned the next room early so we were able to move our bags into the new room before we left for the day.! Rooms were very comfortable... More

My husband and I chose this inn for our honeymoon, and we have no regrets! It is a short drive to the park yet privately tucked away from busy roads. We loved staying in the suite as it had a gas fireplace, patio, and soft bed that was wonderful. The view from our room provided lovely views of the mountains.... More

West Glacier offers three basic lodging choices: hotels in the park, rv/camp grounds, and offsite hotels and inns. Great Bear is a great choice for those who don't want to camp. The inn includes 2 cabins and rooms in the main building. We stayed in the main building in the Great Bear Grande Room. The Inn is impeccably maintained. Our... More

Each day after hiking, we looked forward to this quiet location! Our cabin had super comfortable beds for our weary muscles. Our 12 and 15-year-olds loved the WiFi and the cozy loft to hang out. Danny was very welcoming, and I saw staff picking fresh berries on the day we left. Beautiful place!

I stayed here with our family group. We took up one cabin and two lodge rooms. The lodge rooms were really nice. They are a big step up from the cabins as one should expect given the price differential. The nice thing about the cabin is that it has a kitchen as well as washer / dryer. We slept in... More

Thank you so much for your kind review. We will always go out of our way to accommodate our guests. Glad you liked Three Forks Grille. I always get a little nervous referring restaurants as people have such varying tastes. Danny who is our manager has done a beautiful job running the Inn in my absence. He always gives it... More

The great Bear Inn is fantastic. When we checked in Danny gave us bear spray to use in Glacier. A very nice touch. Our room was fantastic, the bed comfortable. Great shower too. Breakfast in the morning was adequate for our needs. We ate dinner in one night which wasn't a problem. We used the barbecue, had wine and the... More

My husband and I stayed here for six days in mid-June for a "babymoon." We were worried we got in late for check-in - around 5:30ish - but Danny was expecting us and was so friendly showing us around and making sure we had bear spray once he heard we'd be hiking in the park during our stay. We had... More

We are glad to hear you so enjoyed your stay with us. Anyone who loves my dogs is a friend for life! They are very well trained and socialized, however they are also there to keep predatory wildlife away from the property. I do however put them in at night as dogs vs. grizzly bear with cubs is not pretty.......Thanks... More
