We ended renting out a few cabins for a wedding weekend. Cabins are nice and comfortable, and you can get casual breakfast/lunch on site. The cabin I stayed in sleeps two comfortably, but others can fit a whole family. Close to West Glacier entrance and restaurants.

A wonderful place to settle in after a long day hiking in Glacier NP. The cabin had all the essential utencils and tools in the kitchen and there were plenty of places to lay back and relax. The porch was adorable and offered some animal and people watching...a cabin in the woods right off the road.

The dinner float + whitewater trips are awesome. Not only was the staff friendly and helpful, the trip was beautiful and the meal was to die for, from appetizer to dessert. One of the best meals I have had in Montana. It is now our summer tradition.

This was our 3rd or 4th stay at the Great Northern. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We had one problem that they fixed promptly even though it was Memorial Day. I accidentally left my favorite cake pan at the cabin and they had washed it and saved it for me in the office until I could return and pick it up.... More

I am from Scotland and my husband and I chose to get married at Great Northern Resort, and I could not be more grateful for the assistance of the staff in helping me organise my wedding even from thousands of miles away. They made the process as simple as possible and any concerns or questions I had they were there... More

We have gone down the river with Great Northern almost every summer since 1987.( A few were skipped due to surgery for one or another of our family) They are amazingly fun, entertaining, well trained in guiding, safety, rescue, what to do in an emergency (i.e. first aide, hypothermia, diabetic problems etc.) The guides have all been great, cook a... I took my first rafting trip with Great Northern Resort and enjoyed it so much that when my friends and family visited in 2015 I took them. This is saying alot when you know that the staff had to assist me to get in and out off the raft safely due to a walking disability requiring me to use an... More

First time we stayed, we had a cabin and a day of canoe (10 years prior). That trip was great, the best possible way I could think of to spend our ten year anniversary. This time (ten years later...), we were not able to get a cabin for our time in the area, but we booked an all day sport... More

This was our 1st trip to this beautiful area. The folks here could not have been more fun and accommodating. Especially our sweet guide Joe!!! Don't miss this place or you'll be sorry. And did I mention the riverside dinner? Yummy!!!
