Stayed here while visiting Glacier National Park. Our lot was very nice and level. Bathrooms were clean. Helpful people at check in and told us of places to eat at. Only problem was due to the trains that ran all day and night. We have a popup camper and didn't get much sleep even with using ear plugs
We were passing through the area, and Glacier Camgpround was able to accommodate us on a walk-in basis. The front desk people were very friendly and helpful. Our campsite was peaceful and serene with lots of trees. Washrooms were small but clean. We would stay here again!
We only were able to stay one night but really liked the place. Close enough to the park to be able to have easy access to the park and to have a quiet place to rest. We liked the military discount and the desk clerk thanked me for serving. We did not have reservation but were able to obtain a site 3 hours after arrival. Glacier Campground will be our destination when we return to Glacier National Park. Thank you for providing a clean, quiet and easily accessible campground.
This campground has nice facilities, reasonable rates, and a great location. We were less than a mile from 3 white water outfits and a few minutes from the west entrance to Glacier National Park. The employees at the office were pleasant and helpful with attractions to visit. The sites were clean, and with trees around it. The treed sites did keep you from having a view of the mountains.
We stayed several nights at this campground in a RV site. The campground has electrical and water hook-ups for RVs, bathrooms with showers, and a laundry facility. There is a dishwashing station, but it wasn't close enough to walk for our side of the campground. The laundry had three washers and three dryers (bring quarters - it was $2 per load to wash plus a quarter for 8 mins to dry and it took about 40 mins to wash a load). The laundry was very busy except during the midday, and could use more (and newer) machines, but they worked ok. The women's bathroom was clean, but small, and there were only two showers that were very small and in heavy use often with people waiting. They really need more laundry and bathroom facilities. But the sites themselves, while close, were nice with lots of trees, the campground has an open field and older playground that was great for the kids, everyone was very nice, and you can't beat the location and proximity to Glacier National Park.
