We found this gem last minute when we got shut out of glacier's campsites (didn't book or arrive early enough!) It is adorable, beautiful, wooded. Yes, grizzlies, don't leave your food out!!! Camped in out 25 food RV. Clean facilities. We didn't wash clothes here, so I can't speak to that. Keep in mind that there is a train (Amtrak)... More

Very close to the National Park entrance, good sites for a small tent, clean showers and electricity for the tent sites. Nicely wooded, and internet access at the main check-in. Friendly staff and they gave me a discount due to being a single traveller. Stayed an extra night as it was so good. Good value and nice venue.

Had a pull off spot with 30 amp and water for $35 and was a lot better than trying to back 31 ft trailer in a very tight spot. Everyone in office were very nice an helpful. Lots of tent spots and back off the roads in the trees.

PROS- Sites were wooded and fairly private as advertised, staff was friendly, clean drinking water was available throughout the campground, price was reasonable, and location was very convenient to west side of Glacier National Park. CONS- Our tent site was divided into three tiers, with levels separated by logs-- top for parking, middle for picnic table and fire ring, bottom... More

Don't expect an open campgrounds or cement for parking, you'll be surprised! It is literally in the woods. It was rustic and felt like real camping, a little scary at first but was worth a stay. The facility offered laundry services, showers, toilets and a dish washing station. The front desk was VERY knowledgeable and informative on Glacier National Park,... More

Our experience at Glacier Camp was great! The owners run the camp and live on-site. It is a labor of love. The sites are on a hillside that is heavily wooded with Aspen and Lodgepole. Each site has a nice fire ring and picnic table. We had water and electric. There is a dump site at the park as well.... More

The Glacier Campground is conveniently located a couple of miles away from the West Glacier Amtrak Station and the West entrance the National Park. It is an easy walk if you don't have a form of transportation to get to the campground from either. In our particular case, we called ahead and arranged a ride to pick us up from... More

We stayed in one of the small cabins, not far from the bathrooms. The cabin was really clean. Beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were also clean, though I do always use flip flops in public showers. They have a great little restaurant on site the sells really reasonable nibbles. We used the gas grills, hung out on site, and had... More

Closest we found to glacier west entrance. Ask for a level lot since we had truck camper, got a very nice level lot where we even off loaded our camper. Very nice and hot showers and was very clean for a large campground. Laundry was very useful and had good quick equipment. Staff was very nice and friendly and gave... More
