Stay @ Glacier highland was perfect. Location is best to enter to Glacier National park. Joe is very friendly and helpful when we requested for maintenance. Lawrence and office staffs are very polite. Amenities were great. If I come back, will stay here again

The office was closed by the time I got there. My train was two hours late. I chose this hotel because it was across the street from the station. There was no one to tell or show me where my room was. I didn't know it was farther up the hill and across the street. I almost had to sleep outside--and I had a paid room! Fortunately, I heard some girls talking and laughing and was able to ask them where it was, and they showed me. I finally found my room. The room was decent enough, but I was so disgruntled from my experience to enjoy it. When I returned the key the next morning, the office was still closed--no one to talk to. I came back later that afternoon. The office was closed.

This is an older mid range hotel just outside the west Glacier entrance. Although older it is well kept, clean and comfortable with a good price. Lawrence checked us in and was very helpful and informative. Having the restaurant and gas station next door was a plus

I loved my room adjacent to the porch by the office. It provided what I most love when traveling: a view and a seat on a porch or balcony while having coffee…or evening wine. Lawrence checked me in and was delightful. He also helped me choose the perfect room once I told him my love of sitting outside by my room. The food at the restaurant is wonderful! Recommend huckleberry pancakes. Amtrak depot right across the street.

We stayed here for 3 nights in July while visiting Glacier. You can't beat the location, just outside the park. Store and restaurant next door. Most units are ground floor up in the trees, with parking right outside your door. There are 5 or 6 rooms above the office, right on the highway. We didn't get a choice and were upstairs in a front room right across from the train station, with limited parking. We heard the trains, sometimes several a night, but they weren't really a problem. They sell ear plugs in the store. The wood steps that we had to go up to access our room were in very bad splintery shape and extremely shaky. Our two windows were very dirty. The small bathroom sink did not drain and backed up every time we used it. The rooms above the office have a small portable air conditioner. I don't know abut the ground floor units. In spite of the need for some work, it is very convenient to Glacier and priced fairly reasonable for the location. They could ask more if they did some repairs.

Very spartan rooms. Bedding reminds me of a 1970s motel. No a/c and lots of noise from trains arriving across the street. No coffee pot in room. Breakfast not included. Towels are old. Rooms are small. Needs a mirror and coffee in the roomWe had two rooms and we're so disappointed. Price paid was $330/ night. Per room. I cannot recommend at all. They really should offer a voucher for breakfast. With some attention this could be a nice hotel. They also own a restaurant, gas station and gift store next door. The restaurant has wonderful food, is clean and service is outstanding. The motel rooms are in desperate need of updates and attention.

We stayed for four nights while visiting Glacier National Park. It is pretty much just outside the west entrance to the park. Nice and close after a long day of hiking or sightseeing. There is a restaurant on sight. Very limited restaurant choices in West Glacier. Only thing we did not like is the soap. It is a small round bar (not much bigger than a quarter) so we suggest you bring your own.

Friendly staff, clean room, location is fantastic as it's located at the West Glacier entrance to Glacier National Park. Sadly the Amtrak station is located directly across the street. Even with ear plugs, nicely supplied by the check in desk, you can hear and feel the rumble of the heavy freight trains throughout the night. Best part of this location - the absolutely fantastic cuisine at Glacier Highland Restaurant. Warm staff, delicious food, and fun people watching. Glacier is magical - next time, we will choose a different hotel.

This place is a great find, the location is the BEST! The service was great, the room was nice and had ample space and features, everything was clean, price was reasonable. The added convenience of the gas station, store and restaurant was a great bonus. We highly recommend this hotel.

We arrived to Glacier NP a night earlier than expected. We stumbled upon this hotel and stopped in the office. The clerk was very friendly and interesting. He travels around to lots of great places and it was fun to compare notes. This is a motel but our room felt like a cabin. It had a lot of great touches (wooden makeshift bed frame, wood moldings, cabin themed curtains) We were able to park right in front of our door which is always our preference. The train (across the road) sounds its horn all night (ugh!) but it did not wake us from inside our room. The room and property were very clean and housekeeping was very nice. The heater worked very quickly. The bathroom had a nice window for ventilation. No mold! The motel is directly across the road from the Glacier NP visitor center and only a couple of minutes from the entrance. Highly recommend and shout out to the clerk. Safe travels!
