Our cabin (Room 7-1) was wonderful! We wanted to stay in the lodge but the only thing available was a cabin so we booked that. We were extremely pleased as the cabin had all new furniture, bathroom fixtures, linens and we even had a lake front view!!! The room was small but we did not spend much time inside so... More

We like to visit and stay at national park lodges, so have visited several. This was one of our favorites! Lots of history, lots of charm. Our group had 2 deluxe queen rooms and they were lovely: beautifully decorated, comfortable and quiet. We didn't want to leave! Can't wait to return someday.

We stayed in a little Lodge. It had two rooms. The outside look like a log cabin. The inside was neat and new. Enough room. Clean. Also had Wi-Fi in the room. The only thing was no TV. But right on top of Lake McDonald. Lake McDonald is a beautiful Lake. The hotel also had a dining room available. The... More

Don't let the outside of the rustic cabins fool you.... I was expecting a dump when I booked the one bedroom cabin. Glacier has done an excellent job of restoring and moderizing the cabins on the inside while maintaining the ordinal appearance of the early 1900 log cabin. The cabins have been renovated. Our cabin had individual hotel rooms inside... More

It was a great experience staying right on Lake McDonald! We sojourned in a large deluxe cabin at Lake McDonald Lodge in July 2016. Our small cabin was updated and very accommodating. It featured a private porch with two rocking chairs that overlooked Lake McDonald, which was great in the morning and evening.

Booked at Lake MacDonald for a wedding in June. Stayed in a little cottage off the main hotel. A refurbished cottage with great accommodations. We had a bathroom down the hall and coffee on the main floor. My wife and I had the thrill of staying in a "bunk-bed", what a neat experience. The site was beautiful and the grounds... More

The ambiance at this historic hotel was phenomenal! We had lunch on a rainy day and had to wait and boy was it worth it! We choose the smoked salmon plate and the charcutuire board. Wow!! Bison pastrami, elk sausage, smoked wild duck breast and cheese. Unbelievable! We really wanted to make it back for dinner during our visit as... More

We stayed one night at the Lake McDonald Lodge in Glacier NP. It is another old lodge in the national parks, but the setting is nice. We did get a 'lake view' from our room, but there were many trees in the way so we could not really see the lake! The room was large enough, but the bathroom very... More

We stayed one one of the cabins at Lake McDonald Lodge last Friday night. The staff at the lodge was very friendly and offered some great hiking tips for nearby trails. The cabin itself was tiny - approx 250-300sf, as expected, but not an ordeal as we did not spend much time there. Anyone who is quite small or very... More
