This park has changed so much since the priv owners, we spent a wk there a couple of mths bk, the new mgr a young lady there was a the most impersonal and dry personality we had ever experience in over 20 plus yrs of RVing, not friendly in any way, and sadly the park is been let to run down since Toby and Julie Bowen had owned it some yrs bk, it can be a very cute place, but sadly very neglected. Most of the park has been taken over by permanent RV lodgers there. They used to have a nice Coffee House there, but when the new people came in we were tld they shut it down. If you are looking to repeat your positive experiences from the past there you will sadly be disappointed. They even shut down their reg office, and built a little booth to conduct their park business wth.
Very loud music back side of RV park from large 5th wheel and white pickup were we tent camped each night. Trees needed triming, lots of weeds, grass was brown. And two laundry dryers didnt work. Disappointing.
We stayed at Silver City RV park this week. Our travel trailer is 30 feet long and we were told that there was a space. The space was VERY small and tight. It was very difficult to get our trailer parked and then we had to unhook and park our pickup out on the street. There were two other long class a TVs there that had a difficult time getting out. If other campers nearby hadn’t moved out before us that neither them or us could have gotten out.
Stayed here in late September for 6 days. Weather was great and leaves were starting to turn. The park is the cleanest, well manicured KOA park we have stayed in. Sites pull thru or backin level/gravel with FHU. The office/store/laundry and restrooms/showers are in one building centrally located. Restrooms and showers were very clean. Staff and owners were very helpful and cordial. We would definitely stay here again
Nice hosts, clean RV park and awesome water pressure for a hot shower. This was a stop over and it had just what we needed. electricity and clean bathrooms. Safe feeling in town while traveling. Could have used some trees for privacy as it is very open but overall it was a pleasant for 1 night
We booked this campground as it was only 44 miles from the Gil’s Cliff Dwellings. It was very easy to find. Had a very friendly check in and lots of info on attractions and local restaurants. Free WiFi and tv were a plus. The price was fantastic. Some of the lots are very tight to get in and out of but all in all a good campground.
Nice park, wonderful people and amazing coffee shop. Very clean facilities Sites are a little small however located so getting around is easy. When checking in you are in the cute coffee shop and everyone was welcoming. Very pet friendly
We were looking for an RV park where we could walk to central Silver City. Silver City RV park had the perfect location, full hook ups, and cable. The park was very clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. The spaces were shady and very comfortable, and there was a nice dog park. We enjoyed our stay and would return again.
This park needs some TLC. Paved streets that were very dirty. Rock sites which were fine but they put new rock on a site and it was definitely ankle braking boulders. Dirt dog run. Lots of nice grassy areas all with "no pets" signs which was ridiculous. People in the park were very friendly and it is close to shopping. $55 per nite including tax which was too high for what it is. You have to pay all upfront and I've got a feeling you'd have a hard time getting it back for any reason.
Very nice park - extremely friendly staff. Plenty of shade. Some spots are a little hard to get into depending on the size of your RV/trailer, but ours was at the end - super easy. Close to downtown area and shops. Grocery store within a block. Tiny donuts are the best - you have to have a least a dozen!!
