We were amazed by our experience at this KOA. These people went above and beyond any place that we have stayed before. First of all the grounds were beautiful and immaculate. The spacing between sites was perfect. We had arrived after hours and in our welcome packet was the information for our stay, a small specialty (the naked bee) hand sanitizer, a coupon for 25% everything in the camp store, and a note saying they had reduced the cost of our stay due to all the amenities being closed because of Covid. Now that is a classy place. Not only that, but they delivered directly to our RV site (without direct contact) the packages we had been expecting. We have never stayed at an RV campground with better service or better maintained grounds than this Silver City KOA.

I had been driving across country and was looking for a shower. I stopped at this KOA and asked. Hollie was extremely rude and told me that I might try the shelter in town. Never been to a KOA without showers available...

We arrived and immediately had problems with our rig. Owner Rod helped tremendously...would not give up. After dark, we had issues figured out and are very grateful. This is not just a business to these folks... it's their home and they do their best to help travelers feel welcome and cared for. Thanks to all ❣️

Very clean, very nice. Roomy sites and friendly staff made our 2 night stay very pleasant. We had a patio pull-through site that was very nice with a small metal, outdoor table with chairs plus two more comfortable seats around a fire ring. One note, the high water pressure caused one of our valves to stick open. I recommend that you use a water pressure modifier. This KOA is outside of town so you will need a car to check out the historic district or other local attractions. Don't skip Gila National Forest and City of Rocks State Park. Many restaurants in the area including The Buckhorn in Pinos Altos--only 6 miles away! Vicki's in the historic section is also very good.

Silver City KOA seems spacious, more spacious than the actual acreage implies. A good feature of intelligent planning: The lay-out places tent sites as far away from road noise as possible. At midnight, the time of this review, I hear a few vehicles and barking dogs outside the campground, out of the control of the KOA. I am writing this review out by the Patio Cafe because the laundry and rec room were locked four hours ago. The facilities are very well-maintained, clean and bright. All of the infrastructure seems very up-to-date and irrigated landscaping is well-established throughout the campground. The location is a few miles from Silver City, so not urban although housing developments surround the park. Gila Cliff Dwellings and the Gila Wilderness Area are a short drive, one-to-two hours away.
