First off I made this reservation on the 2nd of July. I drove 6 hours in a car with my girlfriend, three kids and a dog. We get to the hotel and one of our rooms isn’t available. The lady at the front desk proceeds to tell me that there’s nothing she can do and so I ask to speak to her manager. She calls him and tells him the situation and then she tells me she has a room “available”. She gives me the keys to both rooms. I drop the kids off to go get settled and I take my girlfriend to our room. When we get to the room, first thing I noticed is this loud noise coming from the ac unit about the door and to make matters worst, our bathroom is missing a door. So I go back to the front desk and speak to the lady again and she proceeds to tell me that the maintenance team had an issue fixing the ac unit and wouldn’t be able to come and fix it until the next weekend. Mind you, it’s Saturday and we’re supposed to be there until Monday. She then tells me all that she can do is email them and see when they’ll be able to come. Then I ask her about the bathroom door and why is it missing a door and she became quiet. Now I’m getting even more passed cause this is absolutely absurd and I again ask to speak to the manager and she then tells me that he’s not on the premises and won’t be here until tomorrow afternoon. Then she had the audacity to tell me that I can either stay or I can check out and leave. I was irate and beyond baffled by the lack of professionalism and respect. To make a long story short, I never got to speak to the manager, no one gave me his phone number. Which I asked for more than once and I ended having to just take his email. This trip was supposed to be a fun and relaxing trip for the kids and us and all these discrepancies just hindered it for us. I wish I could put the video of the loud noise the AC was making but unfortunately I can’t do that on here.

We booked this hotel for two nights since we had a function to go to in the vicinity. We were told hotel was renovated and all rooms came with coffee machine, hair dryer. The lobby was a total dump with ripped couches. The room looked nice, but drawers in night table must not have been cleaned for weeks. Coffee machine was broken. There was no hair dryer. Upon request, I was told they were backordered and should arrive in the next few days. That was not exactly useful to us. The shower handle was not functioning and we were told repair could occur only in the afternoon eventhough we were going to be out the whole morning and wanted to rest prior to the function in the afternoon. Also toilet was leaking all noght and flushing improperly. The room was overlooking the above ground part of the subway so we heard trains regularly. Te light in the entrance of our room was flickering. Since we did not get a hair dryer, I had to plead and beg to get extra towel for my longue hair. Also they refused to clean the room while we were out, said they had no one available until the afternoon, so even though we were out from 9 to 2 they would have accommodated us only once we needed to rest. When we came back on the 26 from our brunch we were locked out of our room. By mistake, they had changed our card lock. They claimed we kept our cards with our phones, except, I never ever do that, always keep magnetized cards and car keys and phones separate from each other. Contrary to what they said, the hotel was far from full. While hand sanitizers were placed strategically, every single one of them was empty. People coming in and out of this place looked very shady and not sure if they were even clients. A scum place. We were there from Sunday to Tuesday July 25-27.

A decent hotel in the heart of Brooklyn. The room was large and the beds comfortable. However the place was in need of maintenance, the sink was chipped and fixed with calk. The shower leaked the furniture in the lobby was worn. The front desk folks were polite and housekeeping kept our room clean a nice hotel for $110 a night. Would it kill them to sweep up in front of the hotel

I stayed here last week, and it was perhaps our worst hotel experience ever. The front desk was uninformed (could provide no accurate information about parking, for example) and unresponsive. Twice we were told the manager would get in touch, but they never did. We were charged for 3 nights even though we only stayed 2 (and were assured more than once that this mistake would be corrected -- it has not been). We have since filed a dispute claim with our credit card company. Moreover, we were unable to sleep the 2 nights we were there due to a faulty, extremely noisy air duct -- which they said they'd repair but then said oops sorry nothing we can do. They said they'd "make it right" since there were no rooms to move us to, but again the manager never contacted us and we had to get a white noise maker. Also, there was no functioning door on the bathroom -- supposed to be 2 sliding doors meeting in the middle but there was just one. When we arrived there were no amenities in the room -- no shampoo, soap, drinking glasses, etc so had to request those. The only plus is the location was close to a subway stop and you can walk to fun restaurants. There is a best western across the street that is far superior, even though the rooms look less "stylish." After our experience I went back to look at reviews on other sites and noticed that all the recent ones are awful. The overall high ratings seem to be from the past, when there was different management. Again, AVOID THIS HOTEL

This hotel is just under new management. At first glance this was a nice room. Good size, plenty of place to charge devices. After closer observation the rug was dirty, cigarette wholes in the furniture and rug. Stains all over the couch and curtains. The website said continental breakfast but once we got there we were told no breakfast and no apology. There was an espresso machine but no coffee maker. This room was disappointing and not worth the cost. It is diagonally across the street from a very large homeless shelter.
