We are repeat guests at Honeys because it is so perfect regarding the hosts, accommodations and location. We especially enjoyed this recent visit as Cathy was an amazing cook and shared a nice cup of coffee over great conversation.
We Had a wonderful stay at Honeys B and B. It's a beautiful old home , full of charm and character . It's in a lovely area with things close by. We always felt safe walking around and had no problems at all. Elsa made us delicious breakfasts everyday. Laura and Carlos are are lovely couple and we felt privileged to be able to stay in their lovely home. Forget Manhatten. Go to Honeys B and B, you won't be disappointed. Brooklyn is cool.
I've been a visitor to Honeys for the past 8 years and love the place. Now that they have a monthly rate, it's cut my accommodation budget by 2/3's !! I would not stay anywhere else when I visit NYC. I love Brooklyn and at Honey's everything is so easily accessible whether you choose to walk or take the subway just around the corner. Being able to use the kitchen of an evening to prepare a light supper is an absolute bonus. Thanks Laura and Carlos for opening up your beautiful home and being such wonderful hosts.
My husband and I had a room with shared bath on the first floor. The house has a charming and relaxed feeling and is on a nice shaded street. We were able to come and go each day and enjoyed our breakfast with other guests. The coffee was strong as we like it!
I specifically asked the owner about parking since my fiancé is from that area and knows it can sometimes be difficult to find. She told me there was plenty and it wouldn't be a problem. We drove around for over an hour and couldn't find any within several blocks. The owner said to call if there were any issues so I called. She was very rude because it was after midnight and said she never mentioned parking. We ended up having to go back towards the airport and finally found vacancy at approximately 3am. Woke up the next day to extremely unprofessional and rude texts from owner saying she never promised there would be a place to park and to never contact her again. Very poor customer service. I would never want to contact this person again. It's unfortunate also because the house is very unique and I was really looking forward to staying there.…
