The Loralei is a beautifully renovated early 20th century home in a lovely residential part of Brooklyn. We picked it because of the location, near our daughter and her family. Parking in the driveway is free, a major plus. The tasteful furnishings in the downstairs parlor and dining room are Indian colonial (the original owner was a sea captain). You...

Robert and his partner have beautifully renovated their home, providing a quiet oasis from the hustle and bustle of NY. Close to good restaurants (thanks for the recommendations Robert!), and the Q line. Continental breakfast was OK, though nothing special. Would stay again if in the neighborhood.

The Loralei is a very nice place to spend time in Brookllyn's historic Ditmas neighborhood filled with beautiful Victorian homes. A few short blocks to all the fun restaurants and bars on Cortelyou. The Loralei is very well maintained and clean, and Robert is a very attentive host. I would recommend it to anyone and will definitely return next time...

We wanted to spend Christmas with our daughters in Brooklyn and were looking to stay in a place not too far away. Our younger daughter stumbled upon the Loralei and knew that we would love this place. She was right. It is a lovely and comfortable place to stay. The high point of our eight day stay was Robert's hospitality...

I have nothing but good things to say about the Loralei B&B. We chose it because we were visiting family in Brooklyn and it was nearby, but we would gladly stay there again regardless. It is a beautiful older home with wonderful antique furnishings (loved the grandfather clock!) and is immaculately kept. We very much enjoyed chatting with Robert over...

The Loralei is a gem in Brooklyn! We found this B&B years ago when our son moved to the area. It's comfortable, welcoming, and homey. We now stay there whenever we come to NY. The nearby subway gets us into Manhattan easily, but the Ditmas Park neighborhood is a charming corner of Brooklyn - great restaurants, too. The innkeeper, Robert,...

My wife and I stayed at the Loralei for a week at the end of October. It is a beautifully restored, tastefully appointed B& B and Robert was the perfect host. Our room (the front one with the ensuite bathroom) was spacious and so very comfortable to come home to at the end of every long day wandering around New...

The home is as beautiful as the pictures indicate but I must add that everything is clean and neat and ready for your stay. The beds are extremely comfortable with...
