I am a musician, and my boyfriend and I were in Brooklyn to do some work in a nearby recording studio. I never stayed in a b & b in NYC before, and this was a wonderful experience. The lovely Victorian house is spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully curated with items from the owners' travels to lands across the globe.... More

Loralei B&B welcomes you with an extraordinary charm. You stay in a nice Victorian house surrounded by a quiet and lovely neighborhood. The rooms are very well-appointed, tastefully equipped, and absolutely clean. Robert, the housekeeper, prepared an excellent breakfast with many tasty and healthy things. His selection of sweet pastries is hardly to outperform. Robert is also incredibly helpful and... More

My mother and I had a great experience at Loralei! Robert was extremely helpful in many ways. After a 16 hour road trip, we were pretty tired so Robert helped us carry our bags to our room. He helped us navigate the city by mapping out our destinations and giving us out of towners a lesson on the subway. :)... More

I was so pleased to have found the Loralei B&B to stay at on a trip to visit my son in Brooklyn! It is a charming, very clean, nicely decorated Victorian home. The bedroom was very comfortable with nice amenities like a robe and iron/ironing board. Since I was taking a redeye in to JFK, Robert made sure someone was... More

Our first visit to New York was great. Our stay at the Loralei, made it a vacation that we will never forget. First, the house is amazing. Very clean and well kept. Before even showing up, Robert was in contact with me and even called the day of arrival to see how we were doing in the traffic on the... More

I could not have ask for better accommodations while in Brooklyn. Our daughter had just given birth to our first grandchild and Loralei was the perfect place to call home as we celebrated the arrival of our grandson. You will never find a more welcoming, accommodating, and thoughtful host as Robert. He was so attentive to our every need while... More

Very nice room, great bed, quiet neighborhood. Wonderful hosts, very friendly and helpful, but also gave us our privacy. Beautiful breakfast. Less than 5 minutes from train. Will definitely stay there again on our next visit to Brooklyn.

Spent 2nights at The Loralei and didn't want to leave! Robert is so friendly and welcoming- the perfect host! We were in The Grammercy suite. The bed was so comfy and the bathroom was fabulous. Breakfast was great. Really handy for the subway-5 minute walk with easy access to Manhattan. We loved our visit and hope to go back some... More

The Loralei is not only a a great place to stay while in Brooklyn but it's proximity to the subway makes it easy to get around in the whole city. We have stayed there three times in the Gramercy Suite, which is very pretty with plenty of room to move around. We love the bathroom with two sinks so we... More
