Stayed for a couple nights recently on a work related trip into NYC... This was a complete win in my book 🤩 The light in the space and the decor is fantastic, if interiors inspire you, this won't disappoint. The food, best coffee in the morning... Lunch is a really impressive place to host a business lunch... Please order dessert, it's incredible... The bar on the 6th floor! Again, the decor is stunning with views of the NYC skyline across the East river... food and cocktails were also impressive... The rooms were a great combination of chic and charm... Again the latest ght us this hotel is giving main character energy...
The location, staff, rooftop bar, rooms, everything is fantastic! It’s always a great time staying here. The front desk is kind & is helpful on suggestions. My brother stayed here last year & they gave him a free upgrade. Just all around a great spot.
We were visiting Brooklyn on our way to the airport and we wanted to see the Manhattan skye line. Unfortunately the bar wasn’t open until 5pm however Moses who was working concierge said he would take us up to see the view, management staff we’re having a meeting however allowed us to sit in and enjoy the amazing views and have a drink! Amazing service & breath taking views; Steve behind the bar was also really welcoming! will defiantly be returning here next time we are in NY. Thanks guys!
Stayed here for a short weekend visit with my daughter and her fiancé. Some positives ….good location, nice size room (Manhattan view King), amazing view of Manhattan. But a major negative was noise!! I was on the 7th floor right above the hotel bar on the 6th floor and had to listen to music from the bar until the wee hours of the morning …. Could feel the bass from the bar music through the floor. The room was WAY too expensive to have to listen to bar music until well past 2am. If you’re going to put a noisy bar in the middle of your hotel at least invest in sound proofing. I’ll stay somewhere else next time.
Stayed for 7 nights in October and loved this hotel! Such a great vibe and good location, close walking distance to subway stops and directly opposite Brooklyn Brewery. Tons of great places to eat and drink nearby. Rooms exceeded expectations, we had a queen room and it was way bigger than we thought, amenities in the room were excellent, mini bar selection was great and loved that every detail in the room from art work to wallpaper was created by local suppliers/artists. Bed was comfy and plenty of storage room for cases. Only issue was the air con was quiet loud and we couldn’t quite figure this out but a quick call to the front desk and it was resolved. We had breakfast included which was avocado on toast, croissant and 2/3 other small items, they also had a free Bellini and hors d’oeuvres between 5-6pm for hotel guests which was a nice touch. Little noisy on a weeknight but we knew this with the area what to expect, we were on 5th floor in room 505. Concierge on the front door were also amazing, remembered our names and really made us feel at home. I feel a little bit work could be done with some of the reception staff as they were frosty and cold at times but apart from that a great stay overall and will definitely be returning. Bar Blondeau was amazing, views were great and the staff were so inviting here we loved it! Arrive early for a good seat, the manager in Le Crocodile was also amazing she was so friendly. Only one major gripe was that some evenings bars were closed due to private functions but I guess this can’t be helped and plus, so much choice in the area. we can’t wait to return in New York & will certainly return.…
The room is pretty nice, if you like the concrete floor (heated), exposed bricks, high ceiling. The restaurant and front desk left a lot to be desired. Our booking included breakfast. Avocado toast was great the first day. Another day, it looked to have been squeezed from a tube of pre-made and processed green something. When checking out, one breakfast was charged. We had to fight, waited for manager approval and then got it written off. Subsequently we got charged for it again 3 days later, separately. Had to call and for the front desk to claim that ours does not include breakfast, that she'll check with the manager. Small amount of disputed charge for a place we paid $500+ a night! Feels so cheap.
Beautiful industrial modern hotel. Nice staff and comfortable bed. Great location in Williamsburg. Enjoyed the rooftop bar and restaurant with fab views of Manhattan. Cons: no coffee maker in room. You can order coffee for breakfast delivery. Biggest downside was the extremely loud rooftop club next door. I was there on a Sunday and the music with booming base lasted til 10 pm. I closed both layers of drapes and wore earplugs and it was still too loud. It was ok for a one night stay but I probably wouldn’t stay again. Too bad.
If you aren’t staying to party all night, don’t bother! But MOST importantly- Staff is incredibly rude and unprofessional! They behave as if being helpful to a guest is a chore. They spend more time chatting with each other and on their cell phones ignoring guests than checking in. Messages left at the front desk are not relayed to the guests. There are too many other hotels in this area to put up with poor customer service!
The Wythe is an amazing boutique hotel in a fantastic location. The service was wonderful and our room was very spacious with an amazing view of Manhattan. The restaurant was terrific too. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Williamsburg.
Loved our room and the fantastic view across the river of Manhattan. The staff was always attentive and friendly. The doormen/woman were so welcoming ever time you came back or left. Only downsides: our water pressure would drop to a trickle 3-4 times during a shower and the restaurant below us and rooms around were very loud at times. Also, the window shades let a sliver of light in right onto the pillows.
