Wythe Hotel opened in 2012 on the Williamsburg waterfront as the first hotel in Brooklyn to reflect and celebrate the creative spirit of our Borough. We are located in a 117 year old factory building that has been meticulously converted into a 70-room hotel – with King Kong skyline views from many rooms. The hotel’s restaurant Le Crocodile is a neighborhood brasserie serving earnest French fare in a setting inspired by our Parisian and New York favorites. Our rooftop bar – Lemon's – is popular with guests and neighbors for sunset cocktails and for its picture postcard views of the New York City skyline. We are focused on culture, food, community, and warm, genuine service. We are staunchly local, and mindful of our role in Brooklyn’s proud history of welcoming people from all over the world.

We booked a last minute stay here in order to visit family, and were generally impressed. The room has great design and high ceilings, and check-in process was easy and friendly. The on-site restaurant is very good. The neighborhood, Williamsburg, is very much an acquired taste, and does have several loud night-life venues in the area, so it's worth considering if that's your thing before booking. We did not find the rooms extremely loud, but I also would not call them especially quiet. But if you like Williamsburg, this is a great choice. Street parking was also very easy.

SO DISAPPOINTED, this place is way to expensive for what you get. We ask for a nice view a week before and we ended up facing the scaffolding. There is a club with very loud music just in front, we couldn't sleep until 2:00 am. The room was cute but nothing crazy and same for the breakfast (very expensive).

We were booked in a second floor queen studio. The problem was the wedding party music directly below us until midnight. We were offered earplugs. Not helpful with the bass vibrations. Would have loved to be offered a higher floor room at check in rather than “we will let the manager know”

4 rules for visiting: 1) don't drive-- no parking to drop off luggage; in fact, no parking, period. 2) bring longjohns-- trendy large industrial windows create a Polar Vortex in the room; thermostat at 90 still didn't get the temperature to 70. 3) bring flashlights-- trendy recessed lighting creates a permanent dusk; can only read sitting in trendy chairs by trendy windows, where Vortex is most powerful. 4) beware the food-- are pedestrian hors d'oeuvres and stale puff pastries trendy?
