Stayed for 5 nights in September, cannot fault the hotel. Rooms are great and spacious. Staff are so helpful and polite, offering advice about the area. The free taxi service is excellent, we used the subway pass for the 5 days and would recommend getting around the city with it. I'd recommend this hotel to everyone... BOOK IT.

I was in Manhattan for a conference this week and wanted a hotel that was less expensive than the conference location and with better amenities. Found The Box House on sale on Trivago and cannot believe my good fortune. This hotel is an old door manufacturer redone into a funky "industrial chic" hotel. A quick walk over the Pulaski Bridge... Stayed here with family in August. We had two rooms on the second floor with patios. The hotel is exactly as everyone describes it in the reviews. It's a surprising, quirky, comfortable place. The neighborhood is up and coming, but still has a bit of a way to come. Largely industrial. Lots of warehouses, lots of construction. Parking is a... More

My best friend & I decided to book a room with The Box House Hotel the day before we were arriving to New York. The price was very reasonable considering it was the day before we would be arriving. We were nervous about what the room would look like but it was a very nice room with a kitchen area... More

This was a very cool hotel located in a great part of Brooklyn! We greatly enjoyed our stay! Was extremely clean, quiet, and super friendly and helpful staff! Very easy to get into the city and lots of great food options near by. Easy to walk to public transit or they had a complimentary shuttle to take you within a... More

Enjoyed my stay for 3 nights in the Loft Suite so very much!! The room was cozy, well decorated and spacy enough for 1 person to stay (I liked its high ceiling!). The kitchen with dishware, oven, IH cooking heater and refrigerator was really helpful to cook breakfast and keep my bottle beers cool. This hotel is in quiet neighborhood... More

We had a fabulous time. The staff are brilliant and the hotel is a quick and easy commute into Manhattan. The best surprise was the Brooklyn area itself - you don't need need to go anywhere to have a great stay! We loved it. Can't wait to go back 😊

We have stayed here two times over the past few years. The property is in perfect condition and the staff are very attentive. Rooms are wonderful, with a kitchenette to allow for some simple meals in room. The location seems to be seedy, but it is actually very safe and nice. Parking can easily be found on the streets right... More

I've reviewed this hotel before and when I decided to get married in NYC I immediately picked this hotel! Even though my wedding was in Queens, we decided to spend 3 nights here. There are a lot of positive things to say about this hotel so I'm not sure where to start! Pros: 1. The manager upgraded our room for... More

The Box House was a really nice surprise. The neighborhood is transitional. Mostly warehouse and condos under conversion. Generally industrial and not too scenic. This will be a really cool area in a few years. It wouldn't normally be my first choice, but we were in town visiting family in Queens and friends in Brooklyn with multiple airport runs and... More
