Friends referred me to this gem of a boutique hotel in Greenpoint. It was the perfect location for visiting my daughter, who lives in the neighborhood. The location - on a quiet side street - was great. The lobby so inviting; front desk most agreeable to getting me into my room a bit earlier than the standard check in, Room...

It was not my first time stay at The Box House Hotel. Every stay made me feel like home especially the welcoming, friendly staffs. The concierge at the front desk are always friendly and very very helpful. The drivers (Singh, Johnny and Lesly) are also very helpful and if you come up with any questions around the Brooklyn area (as...

Very nice and new hotel a little off the beaten path in the Greenpoint neighborhood of Brooklyn. Near some cute and hip places to eat and not too far from two subway stations on different lines (7 and G). A woman alone might feel a little uncomfortable walking around the area at night (mainly because there aren't many people on...

Our second visit was as good as the first, the staff were so friendly and helpful- especially the limo drivers Felix and Mr Singh. It is a lovely, comfortable hotel and we will be back again in the Fall.

The Box House ("TBH") is a wonderful space. Situated in a quiet part of Greenpoint (near the Pulaski Bridge), upon entering the Box House you are immediately put in to a good mood by the colorful reception area. It's fun, but not overdone. The rooms are generous in size, and the ceiling are quite high (20 ft.? - perhaps due...

I'm not one to go out of my way to post a review of an establishment. I have been in the hospitality industry my entire life , and generally find that I am more critical than complimentary in an attempt to make sure I don't make the same mistakes as others. That being said from the moment I walked into...

My wife and I were there for my 60th in December. Great, friendly staff. Big, bright, unique, interesting and oh so clean. Room was huge with balcony with great view of Manhattan. We found the neighbourhood walkable and safe at all hours and used public transit throughout. Super quick subway to many points in Brooklyn and Manhattan. Great hole in...

I usually stay in Park Slope on my trips to Brooklyn, but last week stayed at the Box House and from now on it's my first choice. The room was very tastefully decorated and was perfectly neat and clean, as was the whole hotel. The street it's situated on is quiet, but you don't have to go far to reach...
