I came here for an early valentine’s weekend with my boyfriend just to be away from everything and everyone else for a night. The photos aren’t necessarily lying but as they are advertisements they make the room look larger than it is and brighter. But then again ALL marketing teams do this, so that’s no crime. The website DID lie in saying that there would be a Bluetooth speaker in our room. There was none and when we pointed this out to the front desk they issued us a $25 credit back to my card. There was also no water in our fridge that may or may not have been working. Its light was on, but it did not feel cold. On the positive side, we didn’t hear anything from our neighbors even though the hotel was almost entirely booked. We only ever heard neighbors when they were in the hallway, never through the walls and I’m sure they could say the same. Air conditioning and tv worked great. Easy no fuss place if you’re just looking for somewhere to lay your head for a day or two. Long story short: this hotel is probably run by some businessman in another country who has never seen the property but bought a building in Brooklyn and made it a hotel. It’s a cheap hotel and would go again for another night if I’m that desperate to get away and unwilling to spend a lot of money. It was not awful but you’re getting what you pay for. Very poor for NYC standards but looking at these prices you should know that.

Right off the bat you'll get the fresh aroma of urine as you enter your room. Don't bother bringing this up however, as the response for me was "we don't do that bathrooms." Whatever that means. Enjoy fun party games like: 'carry luggage up 5 flights of stairs when the elevator breaks' and 'count the hairs you find on the sheets'. I counted about 18, as well as a large clump. You'll have to go downstairs to contact the front however, as the phone doesn't work. Window opens just wide enough to cool down your beers. Decided to label the window 'fridge B', as the regular fridge wasn't working. 50/50 chance that room service will clean your room during the day while you're out.

I do not recommend staying here. The listing photos are false. When I arrived the front door was broken, lobby was dark and smelled of stale weed. The room was filthy, furniture was broken. The linens were like dirty and towels like sandpaper. The shower was full of stains and hairs. Sink The television was broken. Pretty everything is the room was gross. I complained and asked for a refund. The person at the front desk refused. I left and counted it a loss. There was no way I was staying in such a filthy hotel room.

This place is located in a not nice neighborhood. The front door is broken and the plastic that is replacing the glass is completely broken. As soon as you walk in to the tiny lobby, you can smell weed and cigarettes. The room that was assigned to me was dirty. Sheets full of stains and holes. Bathroom dirty and bathtub full of stains. Towels feel like sandpaper. Remote control good for turn on the tv but not to change channels. For last, the next day the elevator was broken and had to use the stairs to come down with my 50 pounds luggage and 10 pounds backpack. Do not let the pictures impress you. The pictures has nothing to do with the reality of the hotel. Stay away from this place.

I booked this hotel solely on its reviews I’m a choice hotel kind of girl but I decided to try something new . My room wasn’t cleaned the furniture inside my room was destroyed customer service was the absolute WORST ! Roaches everywhere and on top of that this is a shelter hotel ! Tried getting in contact with The General Manager for a refund but all he does is screen my calls ! Be cautious when booking this hotel .
